General Hospital alum, Robert Palmer Watkins has joined the cast of a Netflix film called Uglies.
The Netflix project will star Joey King and will also be executive produced by her. The series is set in a world in which a compulsory operation at 16 wipes out physical differences and makes everyone pretty by conforming to an ideal standard of beauty.
King is the real-life sister of Hunter King who played Summer Newman on The Young and the Restless. Look for her to play the role of Tally Youngblood while Watkins plays Sol Youngblood. Other cast members include; Chase Stokes, Jillian Murray, Lavene Cox, Jay DeVon Johnson and more. McG will direct meanwhile Krista Vernoff will adapt the script with John Davis, Jordan Davis, Robyn Mesinger, Dan Spilo, McG and Mary Viola will produce. Jamie King joins Joey as executive producer.
