The iconic Nurses Ball is returning to General Hospital this May, promising drama, glamour, and unforgettable performances. Kicking off the week of May 20, this year’s celebration will feature a special musical guest: actress-turned-singer YDE, born Breanna Nicole Yde.
According to a report from Deadline, YDE will take the stage to perform on May 22 during the event. As noted by the outlet, General Hospital favorite Lucy Coe (portrayed by Lynn Herring) will introduce the young artist at the fictional event. The Nurses Ball is a beloved tradition on the long-running ABC soap .
About YDE
Yde is known by Nickelodeon fans for her roles in The Haunted Hathaways, Santa Hunters, and School of Rock. She received a well-deserved Kid’s Choice Award nomination for School of Rock, which ran for three seasons until its conclusion in 2018.
In 2020, she made waves in the music scene with her debut singles “Stopped Buying Diamonds” and “BlindLife”. She released her debut EP, Send Help, in 2022.
The Nurses Ball is set to dazzle with red-carpet fashion and electrifying musical performances from the vibrant community of Port Charles. According to Deadline’s report, “a big reveal and a surprise guest is planned for later in the week.”
