The voice-over for the promo says, “Relationships are
questioned”.

The promo starts off with Nina asking Ava, “Ok, what’s
happened?” and Ava responds, “What hasn’t happened?”. Ava’s world has turned upside down ever since
Esme Prince came to town. It was
revealed that Esme was Ava’s stalker (along with Spencer), Esme framed Trina
(who Ava considers a daughter) for the revenge porn video, and Esme slept with
Ava’s husband, Nikolas. When Ava
confronted her about everything and tried to get to the root of Esme’s
motives, the women got into a fight that ended with Esme going over the parapet
at Wyndemere. Esme has yet to be found
and things don’t look good for Ava. If
Esme died, Ava could potentially face murder charges and if Esme is alive, she
will make Ava’s life more difficult, no doubt. Will Ava fill in her friend, Nina about everything that has
transpired? Ava alluded to Sonny that
something has happened to Ava and he’s been getting closer to Nina; does Sonny
tip her off that her friend could be in trouble?

The next part of the promo briefly shows a snippet of Sam
and Dante who appear to be having a tough conversation. Sam and Dante have been in a relationship for
about a year now and they had agreed to take things slow considering they both
have young children. Dante has expressed
interest in moving in with Sam, but Sam is hesitant. Is this something they can work through? Being on separate pages about if and when to
move in together might not be their only hurdle. Dante’s wife, Lulu has been in a coma for
quite some time and soap writers just love to wake up people from comas when
their significant other has moved on with someone else, especially during a
milestone in that new relationship.

The next part of the promo briefly shows Britt and Cody
having possibly an awkward and/or intense conversation at the Metro Court
pool. Britt has made it clear she wasn’t
interested in Cody, especially after she caught him pretending to be someone he’s
not to impress her on their first date. However, Cody is relentless in trying to impress her for what appears to
be ulterior motives: he knows Britt’s father is Faison. Britt ultimately agreed to a second date with
Cody, but their encounter at the pool doesn’t appear to be doing Cody any
favors.

The next part of the promo shows Dante telling BLQ, “The way
I see it, Chase deserves better” while Chase is talking to Linc. BLQ and Chase have been dancing around their
feelings for each other for quite some time and Dante has been one of their
supporters. However, Dante caught BLQ
and Chase trying to scam Linc. Dante is
putting the pieces together that BLQ is getting Chase to help out her songwriting claim issues with Linc. BLQ has
unintentionally gotten Chase in trouble on more than one occasion that resulted
in him getting suspended from the police force and he might have to leave the
field altogether. Sounds like Dante will
tell BLQ he thinks Chase can do better in the sense of being with someone who
wouldn’t jeopardize his career, unintentional or not. There’s a chance this one line in the promo
is taken out of context: while Dante may feel that way as an outsider looking
in on their situation, he knows how the two of them feel about each other and
that they’ll probably find a way to make their dysfunctional connection work. However, it may cause BLQ to question if Chase
should move on before they can get closer.

The next part of the promo shows Sonny asking Nina, “You’re
worth it to me. Am I worth it to you?” These two have made it clear they have
feelings for each other and they both desperately want their relationship to
work. However, Nina doesn’t want Carly
involved in their relationship at all. That will prove to be difficult considering Sonny and Carly share
children. It appears Sonny wants to fight
for Nina but wants to know she wants him just as bad despite their hurdles.

The last part of the promo shows Drew’s financial advisor
asking Carly, “What are your goals?” to which Carly responds with, “To get back
what I’ve lost and more”. Carly bought
shares in Aurora with the hopes of making a huge profit once Aurora merged with
ELQ.  However, the merger didn’t happen
and Carly lost a lot of money. She also
lost her half of the Metro Court. Nina bought
it back for her, but Carly refuses to take it from Nina. Sounds like Carly not only wants to get back
her money and her half of the hotel, but she wants to get back at Nina. No one can blame Carly for wanting a taste of
revenge considering Nina helped keep Sonny away and let his family think he
was dead followed by sleeping with Sonny when Sonny and Carly were trying to
make things work again.

Fans can’t wait to see what happens next!
