General Hospital Recap April 2, 2024: Today on GH – Drew checks on Nina at work. John has a new plan to take down Pikeman. Jason reveals something to Anna. Carly and Michael make confessions. Dex gets interviewed about joining the PCPD.
General Hospital GH Recap April 2, 2024
At home, Curtis decides to stand up from his wheelchair, and it actually works! Stella walks in, totally shocked, and asks how long he’s been able to do this.
She’s super excited about it and can’t believe he’s been keeping it a secret from his family and his wife. Curtis explains that he wants to wait until he’s better at walking before telling everyone.
Stella gets it, but she advises him to let Portia be a part of the experience too. She reminds him about the danger of keeping secrets, referring to how it affected his first marriage and almost ruined his current one.
Curtis Takes A Stand
Just then, Portia arrives home, and Stella explains why she’s there before dashing out. Portia informs Curtis about Dante waking up and updates him on Dante’s condition. She mentions how thrilled Sam and Olivia are. Portia brings up the time she had to wait for Curtis to wake up after he was shot, and how relieved she felt when he finally did.
Then she leaves to get some cake. When she returns, she finds Curtis standing and walking without his cane. He realizes he’ll need more practice and mentions needing a good coach. Portia lets him know he’s got one as they hug, both teary-eyed.

At Crimson, Drew walks in to see Nina, and her assistant tries to stop him, but he barges into Nina’s office while she’s on a call. Drew insists he just dropped by to check on her.
Nina tells Drew that she’s fixing the mess Carly made and bringing back Crimson from the brink. Drew reminds Nina that she messed with Carly’s first issue, but it still got out on time. Nina challenges him to bring Carly back if she did such a great job.
Drew asserts that Nina isn’t leaving; he owns Crimson, and she needs it. Nina retorts that Drew needs her because Carly is long gone. Drew reveals that it was his choice to end things with Carly. Nina speculates that he got out before Carly could dump him and wonders if he’s seeking payback. He asks Nina what payback has ever gotten her.
Nina and Drew are at it again, going back and forth. Drew tells Nina she’s playing the victim card, then starts listing all her wrongdoings. Nina can’t believe Drew is still backing Carly. Drew insists he’s not defending her, but asks Nina if she’s ever heard that living well is the best revenge.
They argue about accountability, and Nina gets emotional talking about being ousted by the man she loves and the only family she’s ever known. She questions if that’s fair. Later on, they find common ground and Drew believes they can work together after all. When he leaves, Nina says, “Stranger things have happened.”
General Hospital GH Recap April 2, 2024
Dex heads over to the PCPD to chat with Detective Bennett. He mentions that Anna sent him to have a chat with him. Bennett’s curious and asks Dex why he’s keen on joining the police force. Dex opens up about his past jobs, and Bennett inquires about his stint at Corinthos Coffee and why he left it off his application.
Dex explains that he used to work closely with Sonny, but eventually realized he couldn’t stand by his business practices. He wanted to skip town, but instead, he turned to Commissioner Devane. Surprisingly enough, she was the one who suggested that he become a cop.
Dex is really feeling the absence of military life and wants to make a meaningful impact. He thrives on being part of a cause larger than himself. Despite the immense hardships and challenges of army life, he’s still drawn to it.
Food and Family
At home, Carly, Joss, and Donna are making pasta. Joss and Donna crack a joke at Carly’s expense, and she takes it in stride. Joss says they’re lucky Carly is in a good mood, to which Carly responds, “Of course I am, I’m with my girls, and my best friend is back.”
Donna expresses her desire to meet him, and Carly mentions that she knows him but just doesn’t remember him. Just then, Michael and Wiley come in, and Carly notes that there should be four of them.
Wiley pulls an April’s Fools joke, claiming that Willow isn’t coming, but it’s all a prank. Michael explains that Amelia fell asleep in the car, so Willow took her upstairs.

After Donna, Joss, and Wiley leave, Carly starts questioning Michael. She asks him if Jason was with him before he turned himself in. Michael explains that he and Willow were helping Jason at the boathouse.
Later, Willow arrives, Michael leaves, and Willow asks if she can do anything to help. Carly tells her that Michael mentioned how much she put herself on the line to help with Jason and thanks her.
Carly tells Willow that she trusts Jason to tell her when he’s ready. Willow keeps quiet, and Carly asks what’s up. Willow tells her that Drew informed her about their breakup.
Carly asks how Drew is holding up, and Willow says he’s trying to stay strong. Carly acknowledges how much Drew did for her and how she wanted to repay that loyalty, but she didn’t expect Jason to come back.
Willow shares her hope that Drew will piece his life back together and find something he’s passionate about. Later, Joss waltzes in with the lasagna, explaining how Dex was teaching her to cook and how much she misses him. She admits to waiting for a call or text, but she’s determined not to respond. As the meal is ready, Carly says they’ve got so much to celebrate.

Jason meets with Anna and she tells him that she saw Dante, which means Jason is off the hook. But Anna warns him that he’s still in hot water. She mentions they share same goals, and starts prying into Pikeman’s internal arrangements.
Jason refuses to spill, and Anna blames it on Agent Cates. Then she announces that Cates is on his way. When Cates arrives, Anna lets him in and things get intense as Cates and Jason lock eyes. Jason reveals that he told Anna about working for Cates. Cates calls foul, saying Jason broke their agreement. Furious, Jason calls out Cates for lying about his identity and questions why he couldn’t find someone else to target Pikeman.
Cates just doesn’t give a dang and tells him that all he cares about is getting this job done. Anna points out that Jason’s cover is blown, so he can’t do the job anymore. Cates mentions that Jason knows too much and could be a target. Agent Cates wants him to be bait to draw out Pikeman, but Jason is hesitant.
Cates Doesn’t Back Down
However, Cates doesn’t give up and insists that Jason cooperate. Cates announces they’ll use the evidence they have to charge Carly with RICO charges and criminal conspiracy.
Jason agrees to do what Cates wants as long as he leaves Carly alone. Anna suggests they clarify the objectives. Cates says Jason shouldn’t have told Anna, as he can’t risk any leaks. Anna asks why Cates thinks that would happen. Cates says she and Pikeman are WSB.
Anna wonders if she is a part of the investigation, and he claims he has no idea, he can neither confirm nor deny. She insists she has nothing to do with Pikeman. Cates adds that he wants Pikeman to go down and everyone affiliated with it to go down too. Anna says she wants that too, but how do they do it? Cates says that is the million dollar question and hopes Jason will get them some answers.
After Cates, leave Anna confronts Jason about becoming an FBI informant to protect Carly. He insists she can never find out and leaves.
