General Hospital Recap April 9, 2024: Today on GH – Nina and Drew get in a heated argument. Carly finds John in trouble. Sonny is furious with Jason. Michael and Willow discuss her career. Kristina is disturbed by Ava’s behavior.
General Hospital GH Recap April 9, 2024
Willow and Michael show up for their date at the Metro Court. Trish gets them seated and Michael wishes Willow a happy anniversary. Then, Trish bumps into Nina and tells her that her daughter is there with her hubby. She also lets Nina know that they’ll be celebrating their anniversary.
Nina realizes their anniversary isn’t until next month and is shocked that they’re celebrating early. Sneaky Michael tells Willow they just had to sneak off and have some alone time. Willow’s thrilled to be there alone with him and they share a kiss. The waitress brings champagne and Michael notes they didn’t order that. Nina brushes it off, saying it’s her treat, and wishes them a happy anniversary.
Michael thanks her but tells her if they were going to order, they would do it themselves. Nina then shares that what they’ve seen so far is just the beginning, as she’s asked the chef to whip up something special. Willow, in turn, reminds Nina that she had asked her to stay away.
Nina acknowledges her mistake and notes that she thought everything was okay since they were at the Metro Court. She apologizes and takes the wine away. Willow is sorry for her choice of venue, but Michael reassures her and suggests ordering the best wine. Willow then tells him that he’s truly the best husband ever.

After getting wine, Michael hands Willow a gift—a stunning bracelet that she absolutely loves. She promises to save it for special occasions, since it doesn’t really go with her scrubs. Michael reveals that it was Wiley who picked it out. Willow opens up about feeling like she’s missing out due to her job.
Michael assures her that he’ll support her whether she decides to quit or keep working. He suggests she could choose a charity she’s passionate about and make a difference, allowing her to work a schedule that would give her more time with the kids.
Kristina Visits Sonny
Kristina goes to see her dad. Ava opens the door and tells her Sonny is resting. Kristina decides to wait for him because she needs to speak with him tonight. Sonny comes out and says this is exactly what he needed—a visit from one of his favorite daughters.
Sonny and Kristina are having a chat, and Ava goes to get Kristina some water. Kristina tells her dad about her argument with Josslyn at Bobbie’s, and Sonny reassures her that she doesn’t need to defend him; his battles are his own. Kristina jokes that it could have been the pregnancy hormones that made her argue. Ava comes back with water for Kristina and a drink for Sonny which makes Kristina look worried.

Kristina announces that Blaze is going to be the new face of Deception. Sonny tells her he knows because he bumped into Blaze’s mom earlier. Then he gets real, saying he’s worried about how Kristina’s going to deal with all the fame Blaze is going to get. Kristina’s cool about it though, because Blaze promised to keep personal stuff private. Sonny asks how she feels about that.
Talk about Nina and Kristina goes, and Kristina spills the beans that Nina is back at Crimson. Sonny is totally caught off guard. He insists he’s happy for Nina as she’s always had a thing for that magazine, but he’s got a gut feeling that something’s not right.
Ava wants to know what he’s on about, and he questions why Drew would rehire the woman who landed him in prison. Kristina jets off because she’s got plans with Blaze. Ava tries to reassure Sonny, saying she’s positive Nina can handle herself. Sonny asks Ava if she was in the loop about Nina returning to Crimson.
Ava claims Nina just hasn’t found the right moment to reveal things to him. She adds that the divorce papers she hasn’t signed are sitting on her desk. Sonny figures that must be the reason. Then, he and Ava exchange a… well, let’s say an intriguing glance.
Drew Gives Carly A Call
Drew gives Carly a call, all in a muddle over how to reach Jason. Carly’s ready to dish out Jason’s number, but Drew just begs ger to give his brother a message that the feds came questioning him.

Carly feels bad for Drew getting pulled into this mess. Drew quizzes Carly if Jason told her about his whereabouts since 2021, but Carly’s got zilch. Drew pleads with Carly to look out for herself, especially for her kids. As Carly’s about to close shop, Olivia storms in, fuming about Nina giving Peters the boot.
After letting off steam, Olivia takes off, and a lady shows up with papers she was supposed to deliver at a meeting with Jason and Diane. Carly offers to drop them off.
Nina and Drew Get It On
Nina storms into the office looking like a hot mess, and spills all the drama from the Metro Court to Drew. She pleads with him for help to reconnect with her daughter and grandkids.
Drew’s not having it and says he can’t do anything. But then Nina suggests he could put her on the Aurora board of directors, which would force Michael to deal with her. Drew asks why would he do that.
Nina’s quick to point out that it would drive Carly insane and tries to convince him that Carly will come crawling back for his attention. Things get heated, Drew tries to walk out, and Nina grabs him, accidentally popping off his shirt buttons. Nina teases him about the quality of the buttons, and then he throws his shirt at her.
Nina compliments Drew’s body and he teases her about only seeing half of it. They start getting cozy, Nina takes off her shirt, Drew helps, and they share a kiss. Drew takes a break to make sure Nina is comfortable, and when she reassures him, he closes the door and takes her to the desk as they get it on.

Diane and Jason meet up and he tells her that he is moving into Sonny’s office at Corinthos Coffee. But she’s quick to remind him that the office belongs to Sonny. Jason responds, “Not anymore.” He reminds her that he’s Sonny’s partner and he owns half of everything.
Diane agrees, adding that the paperwork will make it official. Then Jason’s curious about his estate, and Diane explains that everything has been tied up in probate since his body wasn’t found. She suspects foul play in getting him declared dead so quickly.
Diane assures him that since nothing has been given out, he should be able to reclaim his stuff without a hassle. Jason’s puzzled about Carly running Bobbie’s and giving up the Metro Court, but Diane spills that it’s all because of Nina. To wrap things up, Jason asks Diane to pass on the message to Sonny that he’s taking back his half of the company.
Diane approaches Sonny and delivers the news about Jason.Sonny then promptly acknowledges the message and leaves. Later, Sonny confronts Jason at Corinthos Coffee and tells him that he wants him gone.
Carly Rescues John
Some men are totally beating up John when Carly is driving by. She’s all like “Hey, leave him alone” So they run off and Carly gets out of her car, asking John if he’s alright. He’s super bruised and bleeding, so she helps him and says she’ll call 911, but he tells her not to.
Carly’s trying to figure out why those guys attacked him. She helps him into the car and takes him home. He thanks her for being there and says he can handle it, but she insists on helping him out.
