General Hospital Recap: Dante and Anna Make A Discovery

General Hospital Episode Recap and Spoilers for Today, Monday, December 18, 2023:

What happened today on General Hospital: Kristina’s feelings for Blaze grow; Molly and TJ receive bad news; Trina stands up to Esme; and Dante and Anna make a discovery. Brook Lynn and Chase get into the holiday spirit.

General Hospital Recap 

Gregory tells Alexis he plans on asking Tracy to go skydiving with him, but Alexis thinks it will never happen. Gregory thinks Alexis isn’t giving Tracy enough credit, but she thinks he just doesn’t know Tracy. Alexis suggests others he can ask but he thinks it might be something on his list that he won’t get to do. Alex tells him that if he really wants to do then do it himself and they will all be cheering him on at the bottom. Gregory tells her that he could do his entire bucket list by himself, but when his disease progresses, he will be trapped in his body and unable to communicate. He tells her that when that happens he wants his memories to be filled with all of the things he did with people he loves who carry the memories as well and can share them with others. Alexis tells Gregory that she will go with him and to not argue or she might change her mind. 

General Hospital Recap 

Esme shows up to pick up a package and Spencer quizzes her about Ace. Trina interrupts them and asks how the new place is and Esme asks to speak to her alone. They go out into the hall and Joss tells Spencer to let them talk. In the hall, Esme thanks Trina. Trina asks what she is thanking her for and Esme says it is for helping get Spencer to accept she was moving out with Ace. Trina tells her that she didn’t do it for her. 

Inside, Spencer is lurking by the door, and Joss reminds him that Trina can take care of herself and gets him to come watch her open the gift he gave her. In the hall, Esme tells Trina that she knows that she has to take responsibility for the things she did even if she can’t remember them and she apologizes to Trina for everything she did to her. Esme hopes Trina can someday forgive her and that they may even be able to be friends. Trina tells her that will never happen. She makes it clear to Esme that she will never forget and they will never be more than cordial. Esme thanks her for hearing her out before leaving. 

Joss unwraps her gift from Spencer and loves the dartboard he gave her with his face on it. She tells him that if she puts it up in their dorm, Trina will probably use it more than she does. When Trina comes back they ask her what Esme said and she tells them that is doesn’t matter what Esme said, it only matters what she said. Joss goes to study and Spencer asks Trina what happened. Trina tells him about their conversation and Spencer asks if she thinks Esme meant her apology. Trina tells him that she does, but she still doesn’t trust her. 

At home, Esme decorates her tree with Ace and has a flashback of when Nikolas was holding her prisoner. 

General Hospital Recap 

Dante shows Anna the envelope and she’s not happy because she told him to stay out of it. He tells her that they are friends and he wasn’t going to leave her on her own and asks if she wants to see what is inside or not. Anna takes the envelope and asks where he got it and he tells her about the key. She looks inside and sees the reports and confirms that it is the one that she was looking for. Dante shows her the pictures he found and asks who the third one is. 

Anna is reluctant to tell him in fear of it putting him in more danger but Dante insists that she needs to. Anna confides in him that the third picture is of John Brennan, the current head of the WSB. Anna details the op in the paperwork to Dante and he calls Sam to have her see what she can find on Brennan. After he hangs up, Dante shows Anna the numbers in the wallet, and she thinks it’s the number to a Swiss bank account and it could have something to do with the money that went missing from the op. He says they need to stash their evidence somewhere safe, and Anna knows who they should call. They go to the docks to wait for her contact from Interpol so they can give him the evidence and secure it away from the WSB.

General Hospital Recap 

Brennan sits down at Kelly’s, and he and Carly joke about him working there. He tells her that he’s staying in Port Charles for a while longer because his business there is taking longer than expected. She asks if he minds staying, and he tells her that he loves Port Charles and plans to jump on everything it has to offer. Carly tells him that Port Charles is very security conscious, so he should have no problem keeping busy with work, and he asks her if she feels safe. 

She tells him that she does and that she lives a very different life. Brennan says that he figured that out by watching her and wants to get to know her better. Carly says they can get to know each other as friends but reminds him she is seeing someone. Brennan says he is a lucky guy and Carly asks him questions about himself. He tells her that he is an open book but gets a call and has to leave quickly.

Sam comes in and tells Carly she needs coffee because she is going to have a long night while she and Dante work on something. Sam opens her tablet and starts to research Brennan. Carly sees his picture on the tablet when she pours Sam’s coffee and asks if that is who she is investigating. Sam tells her that he is the head of the WSB. 

General Hospital Recap 

Brennan meets with Hume and he updates John about Dante and Anna’s meeting in the morgue and their other movements. Brennan figures out that Dante found the report and gave it to Anna. Brennan tells him to neutralize Dante and retrieve the report.

In the Square, Brook Lynn promises to help Chase find the perfect gift for his father and tells him that she has to find a way to help Maxie right now. Kristina and Blaze share their family Christmas stories and laugh together. They secretly hold hands, but Blaze quickly pulls away when Brook Lynn comes over to them. They all talk to Leo and Violet about what they are all doing and Violet says she and Leo are there to see Santa. Leo says she is there to see Santa and tells Violet that he isn’t asking Santa for anything because there is no real Santa. 

Leo talks about the science proving there is no Santa and Violet is very upset. Blaze tells Brook Lynn and Chase to take Leo shopping and promises to fix things with Violet. Blaze tells Violet that many things were considered impossible until someone did them, and Violet thinks Santa was one of those someones. Violet tells Blaze she wants to be a singer like her and says she will ask Santa for singing lessons. Blaze says she doesn’t have to ask him since she is right there. 

Brook Lynn and Chase come back over, and Blaze tells them she will be giving Violet singing lessons. Leo apologizes for telling her there is no Santa. After they leave, Kristina compliments Blaze on a good save. When Blaze goes to get them some hot chocolate, Kristina thinks about Blaze dropping her hand quickly. 

General Hospital Recap 

Molly and TJ talk to their doctor, and Molly tells her that Kristina has agreed to be their surrogate, and they want to get started as soon as possible. Their doctor tells them that their timetable may be overly optimistic.  

The doctor explains they are starting from scratch, and Molly says they understand and just got carried away. TJ comforts her once they are alone, and they talk about their feelings about it all. They agree to sleep on it before making the decision about the next steps. Molly wonders if they are being selfish, asking Kristina to put her life on hold for so long.
