General Hospital Recap December 4, 2023: Chase Puts A Ring On It

General Hospital Episode Recap and Spoilers for Today, Monday, December 4, 2023:

What happened today on General Hospital: Drew informs Carly and Josslyn about his plans; Ned confides in Lois; Sonny and Nina have a disagreement; Molly presents TJ with an idea; and Brook Lynn is skeptical.

GH Recap Today

Lois finds Ned working, and he is so focused on the numbers that he doesn’t hear her come in. Ned tells her that he was in the middle of his negotiations with RCD when he took a nasty fall and woke up as Eddie Maine. Michael swooped in and closed the deal, and Ned says Michael had no right to do that behind his back.

Lois reminds Ned that he wasn’t in his right mind, and if Michael hadn’t closed the deal, there wouldn’t be a deal at all now. Ned admits that he bitterly regrets turning over ELQ to Michael, and he says that if he doesn’t figure out a way to stop Michael, he will push him out. Lois then tells him that it’s sad that the Quartermaines are still fighting with each other like when Edward was around.

Ned reminds her that this is how the Quartermaines are, but Lois reminds him about Lila. Lois suggests that Ned could try Lila’s way for once. Instead of blowing up the deal, he could thank Michael for sealing the deal, and next time they could collaborate on a deal. Ned says Lois really channeled his grandmother, and she would be proud.

Chase proposes to Brook Lynn, but she feels hesitant and tells him that he doesn’t have to do this. Brook Lynn thinks that Chase is only asking her to marry him because of her grandmother’s questions about getting married. However, Chase assures her that it is not the reason why he is proposing. Brook Lynn tells him that he makes her incredibly happy, but he should not feel pressured by her family to marry her. She suggests that they take the whole topic off the table.

Chase reveals that he had planned to propose to her on Christmas and had bought the ring weeks ago. Her mom’s and grandmother’s input just moved up the process. He admits that he loves her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He says that what matters most to him is her. He asks for an answer, and Brook Lynn tells him to ask again.

Chase puts on the ring as Brook Lynn says yes. She says that it is perfect, just like them both. She promises to love him for as long as they both shall live.

Kristina follows Molly home and offers to get her a drink. Molly tells her that she doesn’t have to baby her and asks her if she is sure she wants to be the surrogate. Molly is also concerned about Kristina experiencing a miscarriage. However, Kristina is optimistic about her chances and is determined to go through with it. TJ arrives, and Kristina departs. As she steps outside, Blaze sends her a text message asking to meet up.

TJ and Molly discuss their previous conversation. Molly informs TJ that she met Dr. Navarro and had a meeting with Claire Brown, the matching professional who presented her with new surrogate candidates. She tells TJ that she is only interested in exploring new surrogate candidates if he is also interested. TJ apologizes for his earlier reaction and asks if Molly found any surrogate that she likes. Molly confirms that she did and shares her experience of meeting Willow and Amelia, and later talking to Kristina, who offered to be their surrogate again. Molly asks if he would be okay with and TJ agrees to allow Kristian to be their surrogate.

Kristina and Blaze meet at Kristina’s apartment. Blaze admires the place and compliments Kristina on it. Kristina tells Blaze that she is proud of herself for paying the rent all by herself and standing on her own two feet. Blaze expresses her admiration for Kristina’s independence and self-sufficiency. She then takes out a bottle of wine and suggests they celebrate. Kristina asks what they are celebrating, and Blaze tells her that the remix of her single went to #1. Kristina is curious about Blaze’s real name, and Blaze reveals that it is Allison Rogers Ramirez. Blaze explains how she came up with her stage name and then asks Kristina about her high school days. Kristina reveals that she was in an abusive relationship in high school. Blaze says she doesn’t have to tell her about it, but Kristina wants to and opens up about her abusive relationship with Kiefer. Kristina also talks about being in college and having an affair with her professor, Parker. After opening up about her past, Kristina gets a kiss from Blaze.

Josslyn visits Kelly’s to see what she can help her mother with. Carly says clean-up can wait; she has an update on her grandmother. Josslyn inquires and over ice cream., Carly tells her that Bobbie called from Amsterdam and notes that Luke didn’t have his documents in order and she will have to stay in Amsterdam longer. Tracy is there helping, but she is driving Bobbie crazy. Josslyn proceeds to tell her mother about Adam, who had a panic attack and she had to take him to the hospital. Josslyn notes that he thinks he had a panic attack because he took some medication to help him focus. Josslyn says Adam has relentless pressure from his parents. Drew arrives and tells Carly he was hoping to take her out to dinner one last night before he heads to Australia, Carly is stunned. He explains that he is flying there for a week on business. Josslyn leaves. Drew reveals that he is leaving tomorrow and that things all came together so quickly. Carly asks him why he is going and he explains about the deal they closed in Australia.

Sonny reassures Nina not to worry as she questions him about Cyrus coming after him. Nina wonders why Sonny doesn’t want to discuss this matter with her. Sonny explains that he is doing this for Nina’s protection. He reminds her of what happened to Carly even after they got divorced. He points out that it wasn’t about insider trading but that they were trying to squeeze Carly to get her to give up information about him. Nina argues that her situation is far different than Carly’s. She points out that Carly did commit insider trading.

Sonny says that is not the point. He explains that while he was in Nixon Falls, Carly was running his business, so they had reason to question her. Nina wonders if Sonny is saying that she kept him from his life in Port Charles while they were in Nixon Falls. Sonny denies it, but he doesn’t want the FBI to come after her. He admits that is why he doesn’t disclose everything to her. Nina asserts that if her husband is in danger, she will do whatever it takes to ensure he returns home safely. She also believes that if her husband is in danger and may not be able to come home, she has the right to know about it. Later, Sonny confides in Nina that Cyrus was after him, but his plan failed. Nina questions what would happen if Cyrus decides to come after him again. Sonny assures her that there is no need to worry.
