General Hospital Recap January 26, 2024: Today on GH – Spencer and Trina arrive in Paris. Finn takes the stand at his trial. Laura voices her regrets. Ava and Sonny make plans. Valentin has a proposition for Nina.
General Hospital Recap January 26, 2024
Trina and Spencer arrive in Paris, where they are pleasantly surprised by the exquisite accommodations. The ambience, coupled with the enchanting accent, captivate Trina’s senses. In a romantic gesture, Spencer offers to teach her French. Immersed in the moment, he turns on some French music, leading to an intimate encounter as they hit the sheets.
Following their intimate moment, Spencer gets some champagne, only to be interrupted by the unexpected entry of the bellhop, catching them half naked. Trina jokes that if the bellhop was just a bit earlier, he would have gotten quite the sight. Spencer spots her turtle dove and she notes that she keeps it with her and to her surprise, Spencer also disclosed having his own turtle dove, just before receiving news from Laura. Trina then suggest that he returns to New York to support his family in a time of need but Spencer makes it clear that he is not leaving her.
Chase informs Jordan about the latest developments regarding Esme. Dante will be taking the lead in the investigation due to his familiarity with Esme’s nanny. Despite his brother’s trial taking place today, Chase assures Jordan that he will accompany Dante.

When Anna arrives at the hospital, she tells Laura that she heard about Kevin. Anna wonders what she can do to help. In response, Laura suggests that Anna consider returning to the PCPD, emphasizing the need for stability within the department.
Although Anna mentions that she shot a child, Laura maintains that she considers it an accident and says that Port Charles would benefit from Anna’s leadership. This sentiment is echoed by Jordan, who supports Laura’s perspective. Despite the support, Anna declines the offer, stating that she is not prepared to take on the responsibilities of the badge. Even so, Laura urges Anna to carefully consider the offer.
Laura approaches Portia and asks about Kevin. Portia shares that they are optimistic about his prognosis, which brings joy to Laura. Following Anna and Jordan’s departure, Portia and Laura discuss Spencer and Trina, expressing their wish for them to have a a good time in Paris.

Ava is engrossed in an article about Nina in The Invader when Sonny comes out. Sonny proceeds to inform her that Brick is on his way a and he emphasizes the urgency of resolving their current living arrangement.
Upon Brick’s arrival, he relays that he was been unable to uncover any information about the photo, but discovered that the firearm was unmarked and connected to a rifle used in an attempt on Sonny’s life at the Metro Court Pool a year prior. Sonny inquires about the possible link to the anonymous bid on Wyndemere and instructs Ava to provide Brick with all the information she has on the buyer. Sonny further requests that Brick collaborates with Dex to enhance security for the family, including Ava. Ava then returns and hands the documents Lucy gave her to Brick. After, she suggests to Sonny that they go out.
Nina is at Charlie’s when she receives a call from Ava, which she chooses to ignore. Valentin arrives and inquires about how she is doing, followed by questioning the strategy for reclaiming what’s hers. He proceeds to ask what would it cost to establish a competing publication that could effectively rival Drew and Carly at Crimson.
Subsequently, Sonny and Ava enter, and Nina cordially greets them, although Sonny’s demeanor towards her is less than amicable. While seated at the bar, Sonny expresses concern about Esme and suggests that he and Ava can go to Puerto Rico. Ava thinks Sonny is just trying to distance himself from Nina.

Martin arrives at the Court with Sam and offers his apologies for his being late. In response, Liz asks Sam if she has found any evidence that could impact the case. Sam discloses that she has indeed found such evidence, revealing that Muldoon had been involved with someone else prior to his visits to Finn. Although this evidence does not conclusively point towards an oncologist, Sam mentions that she has one more lead to pursue and wishes them luck with the case.
Everyone takes their seats as the proceedings begin. Diane delivers her opening statements followed by Martin. Mrs. Muldoon takes the stand. Afterwards, Diane calls Finn to testify and rigorously questions him regarding his suspension from the hospital six years prior. Following this, Martin cross-examines Finn. After, he cautions Finn that engaging in a petty exchange with Diane on the stand will not serve him any favors.
The judge calls for a brief recess and dismisses the jury. Sam returns and mentions that the Muldoons were being pursued by debt collectors and had incurred significant losses due to the downfall of Aurora. Finn discovers that the Muldoons had premeditated this plan and set him up.

Brick meets with Jordan at the hospital to provide her with an update. Subsequently, Jordan provides details regarding the unmarked firearm and confides in Anna. Furthermore, Jordan communicates to Anna that while Sonny may have been the intended target, Anna remains intricately connected to the case. During their conversation, Jordan discloses that the familiar voice she recognizes belongs to none other than John Brennan.
Meanwhile in Canada, Dante and Chase arrive to check out the room.
