Next week on Beyond the Gates, Nicole finds herself dealing with a major issue at the hospital. She realizes that someone has hacked into her computer.
She turns to Lia, the Chief of Staff, about the matter. But that only raises more questions. If the hacker was not after patient data, then what exactly were they looking for?
“That’s the million-dollar question,” Nicole admits.
Jacob and Smitty Clash
Meanwhile, Jacob is not happy with Smitty after what went down. When the two meet at their secret spot, things get tense fast.
Jacob reminds him who is in charge. “I’m the one in charge,” he says. And he does not stop there. “I have the authority. So no more going off the script.”
So, will Smitty actually listen this time?
A Family Braces for News
Over at the Dupree manor, Anita has an important update for Vernon. The results are in on whether the chemo is working.
That alone is enough to put everyone on edge.
Nicole later opens up to Dani and admits she is worried about how their mom will react if the news is not good. This is one of those moments that could change everything for the family.
Trouble Brewing Elsewhere
Elsewhere in Fairmont Crest, Hayley seems to be dealing with a situation of her own. On the phone, she makes a demand. “Just deal with her and fast.” Then she adds, “I will handle Bill.”
Not long after, Bill is seen talking to his wife, and his answer is a firm no.
Meanwhile, Naomi confronts her mom, who insists she is not having an affair with Bill. But Naomi has something important to note.
“I’m sure Hayley thought the same thing until yesterday,” she points out, leaving Dani completely puzzled.
There is a lot going on, and it feels like things are about to get even messier.
