General Hospital’s Finn Carr has officially been named Soap Opera News Star of the Month for May 2026.
As we normally do each month, fans were given the opportunity to vote for the performer they believed delivered the strongest performances throughout the month. After all the votes were counted, Carr came out on top.
Carr has been absolutely incredible as Rocco Falconeri during some of the character’s most emotional and intense material yet. From heartbreaking confrontations to vulnerable moments filled with guilt and fear, he brought depth and authenticity to every single scene.
Fans clearly noticed.
We’re Introducing Something New This Month
This month also marks the start of something new for our Star of the Month feature.
Moving forward, we will now be revealing the full Top 10 fan-voted stars each month instead of only announcing the winner. That means fans will get to see which performers generated the biggest reactions and support throughout the month across daytime television.
