Spoilers for General Hospital on June 15, 2023: Spencer delivers a gift. Nina is a bundle of nerves. Sonny questions Gladys. Drew makes an offer. Ava senses an opportunity. 

General Hospital Episode Recap June 15, 2023: Drew Fights To Save Carly

Curtis’s birthday party is still going on when Spencer arrives with a gift for Curtis. Curtis is impressed with the limited edition print Spencer has given him and thanks him for it. Spencer and Trina go to a table together and she thanks him for coming. They are talking when Portia comes up and talks to them about the pressures of parenting and her worries for Spencer. Spencer leaves to take a phone call about the baby and Trina tells her mother that she understands she is looking out for her. When Spencer comes back he tells Trina he has to go because Ace’s daycare is closing early. She is disappointed but he has no choice. 

Marshall compliments Curtis on how he handled Spencer and Curtis tells him that he just wants Trina to be happy and that involves Spencer. Marshall encourages Curtis to move forward with Portia and tells him that he has decided to move out to give them space and privacy to work through things. Curtis doesn’t want him to but Marshall is insistent. He promises his son he will still be there for him and they will still be close.

Cody finds Leo talking to Comet in the stables. Leo confides in him about his fears of seeing Ned in the hospital and him possibly not waking up. Cody comforts him and assures him that his father will be ok. Tracy comes in and sends Leo to get cleaned up to go visit Ned with her and then blasts Cody after he is gone. She tells him that she doesn’t think he should be working there and is about to fire him when Brook Lynn comes in and tells her to back off. 

Brook Lynn explains Leo’s relationship with Cody and tells Tracy that he needs as much routine as possible with Ned in the hospital. Tracy reluctantly agrees to hold off on firing Cody until Ned is better but warns him that his days are numbered. After she leaves Brook Lynn tries to explain her to Cody. Cody tells her about how Leo is doing and confides in her that he’s worried about going to jail. Brook Lynn assures him that he has a place at the Quartermaine’s and that everything will turn out ok. Tracy comes in and asks if she’s ready to go and she leaves with her and Leo.

Carly asks Drew what he means about only one of them going down and he tells her that he is planning on pleading guilty so she doesn’t risk jail time. Carly refuses to go along with it but he does his best to convince her. Drew tells her that he has already told his lawyer to present the deal to the SEC and if it goes through she will have to pay a big fine but won’t go to prison. Carly tells him to call it off but he refuses to.

Carly wants to fight but Drew doesn’t want to risk taking her away from her family because they all need her too much. He tells her that he hates the idea of being away from Scout but he knows she will be safe and happy with Sam and Dante. If Carly goes to jail Donna will only have Sonny and Nina. Carly still doesn’t like the idea and tells him that it’s about more than guilt, it’s also heartbreak because she can’t stand the idea of losing him. Drew tells her that she won’t lose him but he understands if she doesn’t want to wait for him to get out of prison. Carly says she doesn’t want him to do this for her and he tells her that he is doing it for them before they embrace.

Sonny tells Nina that the church has an opening for the wedding in the fall but she is distracted by work she is doing to keep herself busy instead of thinking about Ned. Sonny says hopefully when he wakes up he can tell them what happened. They talk about the wedding and their future and Sonny assures her they will be happy. Ava arrives to pick up Avery and Sonny gets a call from Dante that they are waking Ned up. 

Sonny leaves to go support Olivia and Nina confides in Ava about Ned knowing the truth about the SEC tip. Ava encourages her to tell Sonny the truth now and Nina sadly agrees that she has to. She leaves her engagement ring on the mantle before going to find Sonny. Once she is alone Ava calls Mason and asks him where she should look for information in Sonny’s penthouse. 

At GH Gladys gets a text from Selina that she is coming back to town soon and they need to meet to settle up. Gladys texts back that she needs more time. She sees Sonny and nervously drops her phone and he picks it up. He hands it back to her and asks why she is so nervous. She covers and then tells him about Sasha wanting the guardianship lifted. 

Sonny is supportive of the idea but Gladys tries to change his mind and get his help changing Sasha’s. Sonny promises to talk to her but says he won’t try to convince her of anything. After she leaves Nina gets there and tells him she has to talk to him. He notices her ring is missing and asks where it is. 

Portia asks Zeke who he is meeting just as Jordan gets off the elevator. She comes over to them and Portia introduces them but Zeke says they already know each other. Portia asks how and they deflect the question. Portia has to get back to the party but invites Jordan to join them before leaving. After she is gone Zeke questions Jordan about her relationship with Curtis. 

Jordan tells him that there is nothing going on and the kiss was not important. She asks him to not tell Portia because she is happy and she and Curtis are working things out. Zeke is resistant to the idea but Jordan tells him it’s what is best for everyone. After Jordan leaves Zeke runs into his sister again who vents to him about Spencer. She says that Trina deserves better. Zeke says that Portia and Trina both deserve better and tells her that he isn’t happy with how Curtis has acted since the wedding.
