Spoilers for General Hospital on June 5, 2023: Josslyn can’t deny her feelings; Carly has a realization; Trina is shocked; Portia gets a happy surprise; and Brook Lynn and Chase celebrate.

General Hospital Episode Recap June 5, 2023: Jordan Meets Zeke!

Trina is excited and wants to bring the evidence against Esme to the PCPD but Spencer tells her that he should do it alone. Trina doesn’t understand why and he explains that if the police know that the evidence came from Victor they would be suspicious of it and he knows that she would want to be honest. She can tell that he’s not telling her something and demands to know what it is.

Spencer tries to get out of telling her but Trina tells him that she will end things if he doesn’t. He finally admits that the evidence is mostly faked. Trina no longer wants to use it and refuses to bend to his attempts to change her mind. She reminds him that if he gets in trouble for faking evidence it could hurt him in a custody trial and he could go back to jail. 

Spencer gives in and agrees to destroy the evidence and not try to use it.  Trina gets a notification and tells him that she forgot dinner with her Dad and she specifies Taggert. Spencer tells her that he will destroy the evidence and they kiss goodbye. After she is gone he locks the evidence back into the safety deposit box, just in case.

Dex tells Joss that he’s in love with her and asks if their relationship is too much for her. She smiles and kisses them and they make love, after they are talking and she tells him about her relationships with Cameron and Oscar. They snuggle in bed and then when they are getting dressed she brings up him telling her he loves her. 

Dex tells Joss that he wanted her to know how she feels and she doesn’t have to say it back. They remember their relationship and she tells him she loves him too before they kiss again. They agree that they want to do whatever they have to do to stay together.

Michael confesses to Carly that Dex is his plant in Sonny’s organization and tells her that Joss knows and that she knows about the tape. He continues to try to convince her to use it to make a deal for herself but she continues to refuse. He tells her how much they all need her and she understands but tries to explain to him that Sonny going to jail would create a power vacuum and put them all in danger from other mobsters trying to come in. Michael gives her the flash drive and tells her that it’s her choice and he will support her either way.

Ava explains to Mason that she has nothing to do with the Jerome mob family anymore so she can’t help him but Mason tells her he wants her to use her connections to Sonny. Ava tries to tell him that she isn’t close to Sonny and he won’t tell her anything but Mason insists she try to get information for his boss. 

Mason tells Ava that they are looking for anything she can get, especially anything about a deal he has made with Pikeman. Before he leaves her threatens her with revealing Nikolas’s location and warns her that if she kills him she will have to deal with someone worse. After he leaves Austin encourages Ava to comply with his requests. When she tries to press him for more information he snaps at her before apologizing and telling her they have no choice. 

Brooke Lynn and Chase are enjoying an ice cream together at the pool when Tracy comes up and interrupts them. She sends Chase to get her a drink and asks her granddaughter why she is there and not at work. Brooke Lynn wants to know why she’s so interested in Deception. Chase interrupts before Tracy can answer and then Tracy sends him on another errand. 

Portia is excited when her brother Zeke surprises her at work. He tells her he came to check on her because he knew she wasn’t telling him everything. Portia admits that she was ashamed of the mess she had made. Zeke told her he would never judge her and they talk about her relationship with Trina and her relationship with Spencer. Portia asks Zeke to talk to Trina to try to talk sense into her about Spencer.

Zeke agrees to help her with Trina. Portia tries to get him to stay at the house but he says he has business in Port Charles and is staying at the hotel because he will be there a while. Zeke promises he will always be on her side and they agree to meet for lunch the next day before she has to go back to work.

Jordan goes to the pool and is having a drink when Chase comes up and asks her if she’s ok. She tells him that she’s just relaxing after work. They chat while he waits for his drinks and then he goes back to Brook Lynn and Tracy. After he’s gone a man asks Jordan if the seat next to her is taken and she tells him she won’t be very good company. He says he’ll take his chances and sits down next to her. It’s Zeke!
