General Hospital Recap March 14, 2024: Today on GH – Jason explains where he has been. Lois checks in on Sonny. John asks Carly for help. Sam has trouble hiding her suspicions. Molly speaks to Anna about potential charges.
General Hospital GH Recap March 14, 2024
Lois is over at Sonny’s place. He’s going on about how great her cooking is, but she can tell he’s hardly touched his food. She admits she also wanted to check in on him. Sonny confesses he was scared his son wouldn’t make it.
Lois reminds him that Olivia said he’s been a rock. She tells Sonny he can lean on her and assures him he can tell her anything. Sonny says if Jason was the one who shot Dante, he could never forgive him, or himself. He explains how Ava brought evidence that Jason might be working against him and how hard it was for him to believe it.
Lois wonders why Jason would do that. Sonny doesn’t know, but says they haven’t seen each other in so long, maybe Jason forgot what loyalty is. Sonny tells Lois about Jason and Carly getting together while he was in Nixon Falls. Lois thought it was just a friendship thing and they were helping each other out. Sonny thought the same, but turns out they were in love. He talks about how Dante has always been there for him, but the last thing Sonny said to him was “Stop being in my way“.

Kristina swings by the hospital to check in with Sam. She asks how are things going and Sam admits that she’s scared and confused. Kristina totally gets it because their mom told her about how Jason might be behind the shooting. Kristina tells Sam that their mom updated her and Molly on the whole thing, and it’s confusing as heck. She knows it must be hitting Sam really hard.
Sam admits she’s still trying to process everything. Kristina’s shocked and was hoping Sam would says there’s no way, Jason could have done this. But Sam’ fires back that if that’s what she wants hear, she should go talk to Carly.
Sam Is On Edge!
Kristina figures it’s no surprise Carly thinks Jason is innocent. Then Sam reveals that Carly told her Jason showed up at her place, and begs Kristina not to tell Molly because she’s the ADA. She admits she can’t stand the sight of Carly right now, and every minute that goes by, she’s terrified that Jason did it. Kristina just can’t believe it. And right at that moment, Danny shows up and quickly tries to sneak away but they spot him.
Sam starts questioning Danny who says he hitched a ride with Yuri. She admits that she’s totally freaking out and the only thing keeping her sane is knowing that Rocco, Danny, and Scout are safe. Kristina chimes in, saying he’s probably there because his dad is alive and might’ve shot Dante.

Sam apologizes for not taking the time to talk to him properly. Then Danny asks what can she tell him about my old man. Sam explains how his dad is always attracted to danger. She tells Danny that she doesn’t know why he made them think he was dead. She also mentions that he doesn’t think like normal people. Kristina chimes in that people are innocent until proven guilty. Sam is hopeful that when Dante wakes up, he can tell them what happened.
Molly Chats It Up With Anna!
Molly swings by the PCPD to have a chat with Anna. Anna notes that Jason is under suspicion for shooting Dante, but she’s not buying it. Molly’s keeping her fingers crossed that Anna’s got it right. Anna admits she’s having a tough time believing the evidence they’ve got. She goes on to say that Jason once saved her life and that’s when she really got to know him. Plus, her daughter was a huge fan of his, and he made a huge impact on Robin’s life. All of this makes her think he’s innocent. But, you know, with her job and all, she’s got to stay neutral and gather the evidence.
Molly admits that there is some conflict of interest with Jason because her sister used to be married to him. She goes on that back in the day, she totally looked up to Jason, but now she’s struggling to wrap my head around the idea that he’s the one who pulled the trigger. She keeps going back to this thought that maybe it was someone else who shot Dante and Jason was just trying to help.
And then there’s Anna, talking about what went down on the bridge. She’s dead set on the idea that he’s still out there somewhere, but she’s clueless about where he could have gone. It’s like trying to track down a ghost! Anna’s got this feeling that there’s more to the story than meets the eye.

Drew stops by to see Michael but Willow tells him that Michael’s not around. Drew then reveals to Willow about breaking up with Carly. She offers to fix him up with some tea or a glass of wine. Drew talks about Carly’s unwavering loyalty to Jason being the deal-breaker. He admits he still cares for Carly, but he knows he’s never going to be a priority over Jason. Willow sympathizes and assures him he deserves way better. Drew nods and says he is determined to find it.
Michael returns home and Drew leaves to let Willow fill him in On the way out, Drew thanks Willow for the sympathetic ear. Willow then tells Michael that his mom and Drew broke up.
Cates Needs A Favor!
Agent Cates goes to see Carly and tells her he needs her help. He asks her why she’s so sure Jason didn’t shoot Dante. Carly spills it all, mentioning that Jason’s ex-wife is now dating Dante. Cates remarks that some would say that’s motive enough. Carly then asks if there’s any evidence proving Jason is guilty, because she’s pretty certain there’s evidence that Jason tried to help Dante.
Cates wonders how she would know that, and Carly explains that she didn’t see Jason herself, but her daughter showed up at the pier and filled her in on what happened. Cates retorts that if she knows Jason so well, maybe she should tell him why he ran away instead of waiting for the first responders.
Carly admits she doesn’t know why he ran, but suggests it could be because he didn’t want to be locked up for something he didn’t do. Carly is furious of Cates and demands that he leaves.

Jason wakes up, feeling all disoriented. He reaches for his gun when the door opens, but to his surprise, it’s Michael who’s standing there, trying to talk him down. After a bit of talk about Bobbie, Jason is changing his clothes. As Jason takes off his shirt, Michael spots the tattoo on his hand and starts asking questions about it.
Jason isn’t sure where he’ll go next, but Michael insists he at least share where he’s been. Jason reveals that he was once grabbed after coming out of a tunnel and forced into a windowless room for a mysterious job. He was basically coerced into doing it, and now he feels compelled to see it through.
Who Is Jason Working For?
When Michael probes about the nature of the job, Jason admits he was hired as a military contractor, a mercenary. He confesses that he only returned to Port Charles yesterday and that he managed to prevent an attempt on Sonny’s life by the other sniper. He’s uncertain about staying in Port Charles, but he knows he has to see the job through to the end, or else something terrible will happen.
Jason is flashing back to being stuck in this creepy room with no windows and being handcuffed to a table. Suddenly, Agent Cates walks in and greets him welcoming him Quantico. Jason’s having none of it though, insisting on waiting for his lawyer before saying a word. But Cates is not budging, threatening him with proof of RICO violations and a whopping 20 years behind bars.
