General Hospital Recap March 7, 2024: Today on GH – Sonny and Ava share a loaded moment; Drew and Carly have their hands full; Maxie is stunned; Laura offers comfort; Brook Lynn opens up to Jordan.
General Hospital Recap March 7, 2024
Jordan shows up at the hospital and chats with Laura, Sam, and Olivia about Dante. Jordan mentions that there’s some evidence to dig into and the FBI is on the case. Olivia expresses her desire to catch the person responsible, and Sam comforts her. Sam then checks in with Drew, who tells her that Rocco could use a hug. Sam assures Drew that help is on the way, and then asks Laura if she can leave to help out.
Brook Lynn goes up to Chase, and he wonders why he is there this late. She reminds her that Dante is her stepbrother, and she wanted to be there for him. She asks if he’s eaten, and Chase is feeling useless. Then Jordan comes, and Chase feels like he has to do something, so he goes to donate blood.
Brook Lynn asks Jordan if she’s ever been in Chase’s position. Then Brook Lynn asks Jordan what it’s like to put their lives on the line of fire. Jordan tells her to learn from her mistakes and let Chase know that he doesn’t have to shield her from the risks of the job, but at the same time, to be completely honest with him.

Portia pops in to give them an update that the surgery is going smoothly. Afterwards, Chase thanks Brook Lynn for being there for him but insists that she should head home. She says she doesn’t want to leave, and he tells her that this wasn’t what she signed up for and it’s not too late to walk away.
Brook Lynn refuses to leave, acknowledging that falling in love with a cop may not have been the life she envisioned. Meanwhile, Jordan approaches Portia and mentions Nathan, who never had the chance to live his life and become a dad.
Later, Portia comes back with another update: Dante’s out of surgery, and they’re moving him to the ICU. They managed to fix all the damage, but he’s still in critical condition, but he will recover.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Drew fills Carly in on what went down and how Sam asked him to stay with the boys. Then, Danny and Rocco storm in, squabbling over a video game.
Drew reassures Danny and tells him not to sweat it. Danny mentions missing his dad and later Laura steps in to give an update on the hospital situation. She advises Carly and Drew to focus on Danny, while she chats with her grandson. Rocco, clearly concerned about his dad, asks Laura about him, and she tells him that his father is really putting up a fight.
Drew leaves, and Carly tries to have a heart-to-heart with Danny. Danny’s worried about Rocco, but Carly reminds him that Dante is an important part of his life too. Danny uses homework as an excuse to leave, and Carly remarks that he’s just like his father.
Laura Comes to Help
Meanwhile, Laura talks with Rocco about the video game he accidentally broke. Curious, she asks about the game, and they bond over Mario Kart. Laura asks Rocco how Danny’s handling everything, and Rocco says he’s not scared. Laura feels that Danny might be hiding his fear and assures Rocco that he’s probably just as scared as him. She encourages Rocco to hold onto hope for his father’s recovery and promises to be there for him as long as he needs her.
Drew’s keeping an eye on Laura and Rocco. They’re planning a gaming session for when Dante feels better. Laura suggests taking Rocco home with her, but he declines. He wants to stay at the mansion in case Scout has a nightmare.

Maxie’s all up in Spinelli’s face, asking him what he saw. Spinelli’s still being all mysterious, talking about seeing a dead man walking. Maxie is confused so Spinelli shows her the picture. Then Maxie is stunned and questioning, “Is that who I think it is?” She’s totally shocked to find out that Jason is alive, when suddenly Agent Cates comes banging on the door.
Cates says they found Spinelli’s cameras all over the warehouse and he’s tracking a team of gunmen, and Spinelli’s the best lead he has. He asks Spinelli to show him what’s on the footage, but Spinelli shows him his laptop and says there is no footage available according to his system. Cates tells him to put back the footage he deleted, but Spinelli insists he didn’t delete anything.
Handcuffs!
Anyway, Maxie and Spinelli end up in cuffs, and Maxie recognizes John Cates and mentions her step dad talked about him a lot. John asks who her step dad is, and she says it’s Mac. Cates is surprised, and Maxie explains that growing up with Mac, she’ll never interfere with an investigation. She suggests he lets her go, but Cates fires back, saying she should give Mac his best and tell him sorry he had to arrest his stepdaughter for interfering with an investigation.
Spinelli tells Cates to let Maxie go because she’s got nothing to do with this. But Maxie says she is not going anywhere because they are a team. Then Spinelli says Cates has no evidence to arrest them. But Cates promises to dig up whatever he deleted from the footage. He notes they have experts too who will sniff out what or who Spinelli is covering for.
Jagger insists on taking Maxie and Spinelli in, despite Spinelli’s concerns about Maxie’s young children. Spinelli, against Jagger’s expectations, admits to copying everything. When asked, Maxie reveals the password, Maximista, leaving Maxie completely impressed. Spinelli expresses his unwavering devotion to Maxie before they share a kiss. Meanwhile, Agent Cates informs his associate that they now have what they need to go after Jason Morgan.

Sonny acknowledges to Ava that the guy looks like Jason. Ava says she thought the same thing. Sonny adds that it’s a digital image that was possibly altered. But Ava just straight up tells him that his once best friend could now be his enemy.
Sonny notes he and Jason been through so much so there’s no way he’d do this to him. But Ava asks if that is the case, why didn’t Jason come to warn him about these people trying to off him. Ava ain’t trying to throw shade on Jason, but she’s just trying to open Sonny’s eyes to what’s going down.
She mentions that the name of the person going after him is Stone, and Spinelli called Jason “Stone Cold.” She’s wondering if Jason’s using those lethal skills Sonny taught him to take him out. Ava’s out here suggesting that Jason’s back in town to settle the score, and Sonny’s just playing right into his hands. But Sonny doesn’t think Jason would betray him like that. Ava’s practically pleading with him to be careful, and Sonny says if he didn’t know any better, he’d think she actually gave a damn about him.
