Anna Has an Encounter with Heather
In today’s November 3 episode recap of General Hospital, Anna goes to Bobbie’s, where she encounters Heather. “What are you doing back in town?” she asks.
Heather claims she is having the best breakfast of her entire life and invites Anna to join her.
After a little chit-chat, Heather makes sure to announce that she bought Spoon Island. “I am the lady of Wyndemere now,” she says. She thinks it is the perfect place for her darling little grandson, Ace, to grow up.
She plans to have it for Ace to inherit. Heather explains that she got a really large settlement from her hip replacement. She wanted to snatch up the place before somebody else did.
Heather also explains that Ace is not the only reason she came back. She claims that she needs to confront her past openly and honestly. What she does not want to do is hide out in Arizona anymore. She even adds that people just want her to go away, even Trina. She tells Anna that she saw her and tried to explain things to her.
Portia is Livid by the News of Heather’s Return
Over at the hospital, Portia tells Isaiah that it has been a long time since they had a moment for themselves. He suggests making time tonight. She wonders what he has in mind. He has some ideas, but as they start kissing, Trina races in with some shocking news. “Heather Webber’s back in town,” she announces.
Portia is stunned, but she makes sure to call Stella to put her on guard. Trina even reveals that Heather had moved back to Port Charles for good. Portia can hardly believe it. “Mom, I think she’s stalking me,” Trina tells her.
Trina tells her mom about the flowers and the stalker site. However, Portia reminds her that she promised to protect her at all costs. Furthermore, she makes it clear that is exactly what she is going to do.
Alexis Asks Ava for Help to Reach Ethan
At the law office, Ava goes to Alexis. Alexis has some questions. She wants Ava to put her in touch with Ethan Lovett. Ava swears she has not heard from him in months.
Besides, she does not want to. He pretended to be interested in her and then left her high and dry. However, Alexis explains that she needs to find Ethan as soon as possible. The Quartermaines need his help. Alexis explains that Ethan has to come forward and submit a new paternity test to prove that Jude’s claims are false.
Ava makes a statement that sounds to Alexis like she is implying Ethan is not Phoebe’s father. However, Ava quickly plays it off. She claims she is simply saying that even if Alexis finds Ethan, she may not get the answers she wants.
Ava is about to leave. However, before she can go, Alexis delivers a shocking revelation. She informs her that the PCPD has found Brennan.
Brook Lynn Seeks Joss’ Help
During a run at the Quartermaines’, Joss encounters Brook Lynn, who offers her some water. She asks to speak privately. Joss thinks she knows what this is about. Brook begs her to tell her everything about Jude Jacks, her cousin. Joss says she does not know much about him. She ran into him for the first time since he came to Port Charles.
However, her father warned her to be careful of him. She notes that she does not think her cousin is in town just for her. She also thinks it has something to do with her. Later, after Joss is about to leave, Brook Lynn suggests she can take the water bottle and dispose of it. Joss says it is fine, but Brook insists. “If you wanted a DNA sample, all you had to do was ask,” Joss says.
Brook Lynn explains that she just did not know how to ask Joss. As a result, Joss realizes that Brook Lynn needs to run a test. She must find out if Jude is really Phoebe’s father without him knowing.
Sonny Learns about Jude
At Sonny’s, Donna overhears Sonny on the phone telling someone that Carly had been arrested. Sonny insists her mom is okay, but she should not be worried about it. She has the best people helping her out, and besides, he gets to spend more time with Donna.
Donna thinks she knows how she can help. She thinks calling Justine would be the best idea. Sonny tells her there is no need to call Justine. Saved by the bell, Ric arrives. Donna wonders if he is there to help her mother get out of jail. Ric promises to do whatever he can. Donna exits. Ric turns to Sonny and asks about what is going on with Carly. Later, Ric updates his brother. He tells him that he has news regarding Joss’s vendetta against him.
Ric tells his brother that the bug he planted in Hudson’s briefcase paid off. Ric goes ahead and tells Sonny that Joss has a cousin in town named Jude, and it seems they do not get along. Furthermore, he reveals that Josslyn and JJE are not the only things Jude came to Port Charles for. In fact, Jude claims he is Phoebe’s father, and he wants her back.
Carly Faces Interrogation
Over at the station, Jason arrives. He wants to see Carly. Dante explains to him what is going on. Jason makes it clear that he knows Carly did not kill Brennan. However, he cannot prove it just yet. Dante wonders if it’s possible that Carly is covering for Valentin. He even suggests that if that is the case, Jason can convince her to help the PCPD.
Meanwhile, in the interrogation room, Joe presents Carly with a picture of the bracelet found on Brennan’s body. He asks if she recognizes it. Carly notes that she does not. “Should I?” she asks. After looking at the bracelet, Carly flashes back to the time she gave Charlotte the same one as a gift. However, she tells Joe and Molly that the bracelet does not belong to her.
Later, Jason checks in on his friend. He tells Carly that he knows everything. She tells him about the bracelet. She notes that circumstantial evidence keeps piling up on her, and she is afraid they are going to book her for her ex’s murder.
Evidence Turns Up
Meanwhile, Joe realizes that the preliminary autopsy rules it as a drowning, so the last place he was seen was at the Metro Court. It is possible somebody moved his body to the Nature Preserve. Dante, Joe, and Molly discuss how the security cameras were turned off at the Metro Court that night.
Joe points out that Olivia was not at work. “What if Carly turned them off so that she could kill Jack Brennan?” Joe asks.
Later, Joe returns and tells them that he got it. “The evidence we need,” he says as he presents a packed brown envelope.
Shortly after, Joe, Dante, and Molly return to the interrogation room. They inform Carly that they have photo evidence of her wearing the exact same bracelet.
