Hospital Drama

Lucas talks with Liz at the hospital on General Hospital
Van Hansis as Lucas Jones on General Hospital.

At General Hospital, Lucas and Elizabeth talk about Curtis. Lucas points out that he knows how much Sonny hates Sidwell, so Sonny’s involvement makes the most sense. This leaves Liz worried about what this will do to Dante.

Cameron Mathison as Drew Cain on General Hospital

Meanwhile, Lulu wants a story about how Drew battled with his back against the wall. She knows her readers would love to read how he got his miracle. “I look at it as a testament to your spirit,” she tells him. Having come back from a similar ordeal herself, Lulu believes she is the perfect person to write the piece.

Drew is hesitant at first, but Lulu makes her case. She wants to reframe the narrative and put the spotlight where it belongs: on him. Drew agrees that a story could clear things up, but he notes that he fought his way back inch by inch. Lulu wants to interview him right away, but he is busy. He suggests they talk later, and he agrees to let her speak with his doctors in the meantime.

Lulu Asks the Questions

When Lulu arrives at the hospital, Liz meets her and asks what is going on. Lulu explains that she has permission to look over Drew’s medical files. Liz insists on talking to Drew first, amazed that Lulu managed to get him to sign a waiver. When Liz questions why she needs it, Lulu explains that she is writing an article. She then asks about Willow and how involved she was in Drew’s treatment. Liz confirms that Willow was there every step of the way.

Lulu on General Hospital
Alexa Havins Bruening as Lulu on GH.

Lulu questions Liz and Lucas, both of whom explain that Drew was not the only locked-in patient. Brennan was too, and he suffered from symptoms awfully similar to Drew’s.

Gio Shares His Big News with Tracy

Emma and Gio at the Quartermaine mansion on General Hospital
Braedyn Bruner as Emma and Giovanni Mazza as Gio on GH.

Over at the Quartermaines’, Gio and Emma tell Tracy that they are moving in together. Tracy gives them her blessing—anything to get Gio out of Sonny’s house. She offers to leave them to their apartment hunting, but Gio stops her. He explains that he deserves to know the truth.

“Truth about what?” she asks.

Jane Elliot as Tracy Quartermaine on General Hospital

Gio explains that this move is not just about wanting to live with Emma. He knows what happened to Sidwell and Curtis, so his decision is tied to that as well. Tracy thinks he made a wise choice, telling him that the pain he feels now is exactly what she was trying to protect him from. She hugs him and apologizes.

Just then, Gio gets a call from Simon and steps away. Emma uses the opportunity to talk to Tracy while Gio is out of the room. “I told you so,” Tracy repeats. Emma simply asks her not to say that to Gio.

As Tracy leaves to go to bed, Emma and Gio get ready to look at apartments. However, Gio reveals that he is not quite ready to tell Sonny that he is moving out.

Anna Opens up to Carly

Laura Wright as Carly Spencer on GH.

Carly asks Anna to meet in her office so she can ask Anna to talk to Joss. During their conversation, Anna opens up about almost killing Britt.

“I’m so sorry for everything you went through,” Carly says.

Finola Hughes as Anna Devane on General Hospital.

Anna explains that she agrees with Carly regarding Joss’s association with the bureau. However, because of everything she has been through, Anna does not trust her own judgment right now. Carly understands, drawing on her own history with mental health struggles. She cannot imagine how awful it was for Anna to be trapped in that room at Wyndemere for so long with no help.

Carly mentions that Valentin told her Anna is getting professional help. Anna confirms that she is seeing a psychiatrist. She reveals that her doctor suggested bringing in someone who knew both her and Faison back in the day. Unfortunately, the only two options are Robert—who is busy with Holly in France—and Valentin, who is busy rebuilding his life. Carly notes that Valentin would want to help, but Anna insists that period of Val’s life is best left in the past. Carly reminds her that the past is still affecting the present, but Anna believes Carly and Valentin should stay focused on the future.

Alexis and Drew Clash

Dante and Rocco at the gym on General Hospital
Dominic Zamprogna as Dante and Finn Carr as Rocco on GH.

At the boxing ring, Molly and Alexis run into Dante and Rocco. Molly overhears Rocco mentioning that Danny attacked him, so she asks if it is true. Rocco admits they fought, but insists it is no big deal. Alexis disagrees, assuming Rocco is learning to defend himself against her grandson. Dante clarifies that is not quite what happened.

Alexis then turns to Molly and remarks that both of Sam’s kids are being failed by their fathers. She adds that Jason deserves father of the year compared to Drew, whom she considers a complete and utter failure as a parent.

Just as Alexis is ranting about Drew being a self-centered manipulator, Drew walks in and clears his throat. He accuses Alexis of badmouthing him to Scout and makes it clear that his daughter is his top priority. Drew snaps that his job as a father is to protect Scout, which means keeping her away from both Alexis and Molly before they poison her mind against him.

Drew threatens to send Scout to boarding school, leaving Alexis stunned that he is pulling this move again. The two immediately clash, and Drew warns her not to violate the restraining order unless she wants Scout sent away. Alexis tries to stop him, but he walks out, with Molly stepping in to keep her back. Alexis laments how terrible things have gotten, though Molly suggests that maybe it isn’t quite as bad as it seems.

Molly points out that Drew never mentioned Charlotte, which means Scout didn’t tell him.

Scout Tries to Make Peace

Kayden as Scout on General Hospital
Kayden Brenna Tokarski as Scout Cain on General Hospital.

Elsewhere, Scout and Danny talk about Rocco. Danny feels there is no coming back from what happened, but Scout believes he still cares about his friend.

“Why do you care if Rocco and I are friends or not?” Danny asks, frustrated by her persistence.

He explains that he does not think he can move past things with Rocco, though he would love to fix things with her. Danny adds that how she feels about Charlotte is exactly how he feels about Rocco.

Later, Dante pays Danny a visit. He insists that both Danny and his son need each other in their lives.

Meanwhile, Rocco and Scout catch up. He tells her about seeing her dad at the gym earlier. Rocco reminds her that her dad can never find out about them, or he will make sure they never see each other again.
