Britt and Jude Get It On
In today’s October 20 episode of General Hospital, Britt and Jude share a passionate kiss as they walk into his suite. He asks if she wants anything to drink or eat. “No thanks,” she replies.
Britt tells Jude she is ready to blow off some steam with no strings attached. Jude compliments her, telling her she is an excellent kisser. “I have spent the last four years ready to die. I am ready to live,” Britt says before they start kissing again.
They hit the sheets, and Jude wonders if they will do this again. Britt thought it was just a one-night thing. He agrees with a smile. Then they do it again.
Sonny Tells Jason the Truth about His Connection to Justine
Elsewhere, Jason meets up with Sonny. Jason points out that there has been no sign of Vito anywhere. He notes that whoever got to Vito clearly wants to keep him away from Sonny.
Jason brings up the bids next. He wonders if Selina could have been the one to approach Vito, especially since she put a bid in. Sonny doubts it. However, Sonny believes they must find another way to clear his name now that Vito is out of reach.
Sonny adds that Justine is convinced he is guilty. Because of this, she will try to bring him down no matter what. “If there’s a loose end, ADA Turner is going to find it,” Sonny warns. Jason asks if they should pressure Turner to back off, but Sonny tells him no.
Sonny reveals that he does not want to play dirty against Justine because they were involved. He explains that they have been seeing each other since March.
Jason then wonders if Sonny went legit specifically for Justine.
Justine Makes Drew an Offer
Elsewhere, Justine meets with Drew. Drew assumes the meeting is about Lulu’s recent article, so he insists he will not speak without his lawyer present. However, Justine surprises him by revealing the meeting is actually about the attack on Curtis and Jenz Sidwell.
Justine explains that she believes Sonny ordered the attack. She also thinks all his talk about going legit is just a smokescreen. She vows that if she cannot get him for the Pentonville attack, she will find something else to bring him down. “And that is where I come in,” Drew says.
Justine brings up a time when Drew used to work with Sonny. Drew notes that was a long time ago. He wonders if Justine is trying to get him to confess to a felony. She assures him that he is not the one she is after. She is even willing to offer him immunity, provided he brings her something she can use against Sonny.
Drew cannot help himself. He mentions how this situation is a massive shift, especially considering Sonny intervened and saved her life from Sidwell. Because of this, he really has to wonder what is actually going on.
Justine thought Drew would jump at the chance to take down Sonny. Drew admits he wants to do just that. In response, Justine tells him to bring her something solid. She promises that if the information is legit, she will take Sonny down for him. Drew tells her that he will be in touch.
Alexis Learns Monet is Representing Curtis
Over at the law office, Monet tells Alexis that she is now representing Curtis. She explains that she was the one who reached out to him first. Alexis mentions that Curtis is a close friend of hers. She tells Monet to go for it if she can find grounds for an appeal.
However, Alexis cautions her not to get Curtis’s hopes up. Monet assures her that she can win the case. Then Alexis asks what caught her attention about this specific case in the first place. “Curtis and I are family,” Monet reveals.
Alexis is surprised to learn that Monet is Jordan’s sister. Afterward, Monet explains her legal strategy. She plans to use public opinion to sway the case in Curtis’s favor. She even plans to speak with Drew because he promised to help. “I would tread carefully when it comes to Drew,” Alexis warns. However, she admits Monet can talk to him if it actually helps the case. Just then, Alexis receives an email she has been waiting for. “Oh, my client is not going to be happy,” she says as she looks at it.
Alexis Drops By with Big News for Valentin
Meanwhile, Carly talks to Valentin about Lucas’s advice. She decides to take it. Her brother noticed a positive change in her since she started seeing Valentin. She tells Valentin that he makes her truly happy. Valentin agrees. He shares that she makes him happy too. Still, he admits she is taking a huge risk by being with him, especially after everything Sonny put her through.
Carly asks where his concerns are coming from. Valentin admits he visited Josslyn to try to buy the piers from her. The offer failed. However, the meeting led to a conversation about Sonny. Valentin promises Carly that he will never make her regret taking a risk on him.
Alexis swings by. Valentin hopes she came with good news and wonders when he can move back into Wyndemere. “Unfortunately for you, never,” she announces. She reveals that the property is officially off the market because someone else just bought Spoon Island.
Alexis adds that the government received a high cash offer, though she does not know who made it. With that, she sees herself out.
After Alexis leaves, Valentin jokes that if he did not know any better, he would think Carly bought Wyndemere just to keep him from living there. Carly looks at him, completely puzzled.
Still, Carly promises she would never go behind his back and try to sabotage him. He apologizes. Carly understands. Valentin promises that he is not giving up on Wyndemere just yet.
Isaiah updates Portia on the Staff Night Out, and then Monet Shows Up
Meanwhile, at home, Isaiah tells Portia about the hospital staff’s night out. He adds that Tristan wants him to consult on more surgeries. Portia thinks this is fantastic news because Isaiah has been eager to return to the ER. She feels confident he will be back to healing patients soon. Isaiah agrees and acknowledges that his life is going really well right now.
There is a knock at the door. It is Monet, who introduces herself and tells Portia that she is the lawyer working on Curtis’s appeal.
Monet reveals her legal strategy. She believes Portia can help since she is working on Curtis’s appeal. However, Portia remains ambivalent about the idea.
Monet reveals that she has a personal connection to the case: Jordan is her half-sister. However, she and Jordan are not exactly close. She intends to use this case to help mitigate the damage her sister did to Portia’s family.
Portia realizes that Monet is going to move forward with this plan whether she is on board or not.
Portia agrees to do it, but she needs some reassurance first. For one, she wants no more resistance regarding Isaiah being in her life. Monet says she cannot make any promises, but she will try to get Curtis to see it that way.
After Monet leaves, Portia tells Isaiah that this plan could work in their favor if it helps get Curtis out sooner. Isaiah agrees, but he does not trust Monet. Meanwhile, on the outside, Monet calls Alexis and tells her that she got exactly what she wanted.
