General Hospital Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for Friday, September 15, 2023:
Spoilers for General Hospital on Friday, September 15, 2023: Martin gets an unwelcome sight; Spencer makes a request of Alexis; Carly gives Ava some unsolicited advice; and Trina and Josslyn have a heart-to-heart. Anna confronts Valentin.
General Hospital Episode Recap Friday, September 15, 2023:
Blair arrives and Martin spots her. He says, “God! not her.” Blair confides in Tracy that her ex-husband is draining her financially, and she hopes he remarries soon. Tracy reassures Blair that once they have control of Deception, her ex’s new partner, Lucy, will no longer be an issue and he will be forced to marry her to get. Blair admits to having feelings for her ex, but paying him 50 grand a month in alimony is not feasible. Tracy assures her that everything is under control. They discuss the court case, and Blair agrees that it is necessary to protect their intellectual property. Blair comments on her life with her ex and his manipulative tactics and predicts that he will do whatever it takes to win. Tracy is determined to get the shares that Lucy has in her family company, which Lucy has been using to ruin their lives for years. She promises to keep fighting until she succeeds.
Martin is about to leave, but Lucy stops him to express her fearlessness towards Tracy Quartermaine. She also recognizes a blonde woman with Tracy but can’t seem to place her. Martin tries redirecting her attention to the menu, but Lucy believes he wants to leave due to Tracy’s unpleasant presence. She blames Brook Lynn for stealing her ideas for the Deceptor, which Martin had originally given her. Lucy excuses herself to freshen up and arrange to meet Martin in the lobby. As she leaves, Blair approaches Martin and greets him affectionately.
Esme gives Alexis an update on her schedule. Alexis thanks her. As Esme is walking out, she says she just sent her the cutest picture of Ace at the pool. Alexis views the picture and calls Gregory to update him that she will be at the office if he needs her; Spencer walks in and says he needs her. He presents her with a document that he may not fully understand. He calls it his future. With his father out of the picture, the full control of the Cassadine estate goes to him. Alexis asks him to sit down so she can walk him through it. Alexis tells him it’s a really complicated document and she will need some time with it. She promises to get it back to him by tomorrow night, and Spencer says that’s works. Spencer says he is so grateful for her. Spencer then mentions his father and wonders how someone could walk out on a baby. Alexis says his father is damaged, and she is not making excuses for him, but she does have a soft spot for him. She tells Spencer that despite everything, his father loves him. Spencer says his father has a very funny way of showing it. Alexis promises to always be there for him.
Spencer asks Alexis for one last favor regarding Ace. Esme overhears their conversation by the door. Spencer informs Alexis that he and Trina planned a weekend getaway to New York and asks her to keep an eye on Ace and Esme. Alexis questions the need for supervision as she believes Esme is doing well and has been keeping an eye on her. However, Spencer can not forget Esme’s past wrongdoings and wants to ensure Ace’s safety. Alexis acknowledges that Esme is good with Ace and signed some payroll documents that Esme had forgotten to submit when Esme almost gets caught eavesdropping.
Meanwhile, Trina visits Josslyn and asks her if she felt nervous when she first met Dex. Josslyn wonders why she is asking and the conversation then shifts to Spencer. Trina laments on how they had not been alone much and expresses her desire for some alone time with Spencer. Josslyn suggests that Esme’s presence might be a hindrance, but Trina believes Spencer has found a way around it. She excitedly shares that they are going on a trip and Josslyn expresses her happiness for them while also asking if Trina is ready for such a significant step. Trina confidently shares her excitement about the plans.
Carly is visited by Ava, and she confronts her about something she is involved in. Carly believes that Ava is in deep trouble and only Sonny can help her out of it. She reveals that she and Sonny had just visited Drew in Pentonville to ask for his assistance. Drew was asked to find out who Austin visited in Pentonville. Ava is taken aback by this news. Carly describes her visit with Drew on August 23, where Austin entered the room carrying a briefcase. She suspects that Ava has done something and that Austin and Mason are aware of it and threatening to report it to their boss, who has connections to the FBI. Ava requests that her daughter Avery stay with Carly for a little longer, and Carly agrees. As Ava is leaving, Carly warns her not to trust Austin, as he is holding back information from her.
Austin returns and Nikolas informs him that he’s leaving for Europe to take care of some unfinished business. Although Austin assumes that Nikolas is heading back to Port Charles, Nikolas clarifies that he needs to track down his mother, who is currently in Europe. He has no plans to meet her, but he wants her to know that he’s alive. Austin questions Nikolas’ motives, but Nikolas explains that if he disappears for six months, control of the Cassadine estate will automatically pass to his son. To prevent this from happening, he needs to prove that he’s still alive. As Nikolas gets ready to leave, he mentions that it’s time for a family reunion.
Anna and Valentin get out to dine at Metro Court where Trish hands Anna a letter left by Dante. Upon opening it, Anna is taken aback. Valentin questions whether he should feel envious of Anna receiving a letter from another man, but Anna clarifies that it is more than just a note. Intrigued, Anna passes the letter to Valentin to read for himself. She asks if it is true, to which Valentin admits that he has not been entirely honest with her. He clarifies that he has never directly worked for Pikeman, but was an independent contractor. Anna begins to question if she ever truly knew him.
Valentin informs her that he was not present at ELQ on the night of the fire as Pikeman had summoned him to New York for a meeting where they discussed Sonny. Anna asks why he lied to her, and what else he is keeping from her. He apologized and declared his love for her, vowing to keep no more secrets. He attributes his past involvement with Pikeman to greed. Anna suggests they return to the suite. However, upon arriving, they find it ransacked with stains and a message for Anna.
