Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl), feeling desperate for help, has explored various avenues in her quest to get back her son. Ultimately, she decides to confide in her mother, Heather (Alley Mills), during a visit to Pentonville. Esme expresses to her mother that she sees her as the only person she can turn to. She proceeds to tell her mother all about the recent events. Can Heather help?
Nina (Cynthia Watros) is experiencing the consequences of her actions. Drew (Cameron Mathison) has made the decision to fire Nina from her role as Editor in Chief of Crimson magazine and appoint Carly (Laura Wright) as her replacement. Nina is profoundly affected by Drew’s choice, but she has never been one to back down from a war.
General Hospital Spoilers January 22: Lucy’s Plan!
Lucy (Lynn Herring) learns from Scott (Kin Shriner) that he is scheduled to have a meeting with Tracy (Jane Elliot), but she desires more direct involvement. While hurrying to meet him, Martin (Michael E. Knight) appears with plans for them, but Lucy would rather go over to Metro Court where she can keep a close watch on Tracy and Scott. Look for Tracy and Scott to engage in a battle of wits at Metro Court.

Additionally, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) have an important question for Gregory (Gregory Harrison), and they are hopeful for an affirmative response, while Laura (Genie Francis) seeks counsel from Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) regarding legal options concerning Ace (Joey and Jay Clay).
