You’d think having your “dead” daughter come back would bring nothing but joy — and in most cases, it probably would. But not for Liesl (Kathleen Gati).
After two years of mourning, Liesl is furious to learn that Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) faked her death.
Sure, Britt may have had her reasons, but all Liesl can see right now is the heartbreak she endured. She cried, she grieved, she lived every day as if her daughter were really gone. And now? She’s livid.
In a heated moment, Liesl slaps Britt across the face. Nina (Cynthia Watros) steps in and tries to play peacemaker, though that’s easier said than done.
She begs her aunt to apologize, but Liesl isn’t budging. In fact, she coldly says the only thing she’s sorry for is wasting even one second grieving someone who let her believe she was dead.
Can these two ever come back from this? Or is the damage between mother and daughter too deep?
Drew Manipulates Martin
Over at the center of another shady scheme, Drew (Cameron Mathison) is once again playing games — and this time, he uses Martin (Michael E. Knight).
Drew’s trying to keep a crucial piece of evidence away from the PCPD. Why? Because he wants to pin his shooting on Michael (Rory Gibson). And the evidence may send the PCPD in another direction.
He’s doing everything and needs Martin’s help to make sure the wrong people don’t get their hands on what’s in that safe.
What Drew doesn’t realize is that the item he’s trying so hard to protect isn’t even there anymore. Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) already swiped it — and that twist could blow Drew’s plan to pieces.
So while he’s busy manipulating Martin to do his bidding, will Martin go along with it? Or is Drew about to lose control of the situation?
