In today’s General Hospital episode, the February 9, 2026, spoilers video teases that Lucy has it out with Ava, Dante gets surprising news, and there’s plenty more drama coming. Soap Opera News has the scoop!
Lucy vs. Ava
First up, Lucy and Ava are here for round two of their ongoing clash. Obviously, Lucy does not really trust Ava, and with Ava getting close to Jenz Sidwell, Lucy is not happy about it. So when Ava and Lucy cross paths again, Lucy wastes no time letting Ava know exactly what is on her mind.
“I do know exactly what you’re selling, and it’s certainly not art,” Lucy asserts.
Dante Gets Surprising Career News
Meanwhile, Laura has some news to drop, and it is news that takes Dante by surprise. Speaking in front of Dante and Mac, she reveals that Anna will not be coming back as police commissioner.
With how things are for Anna, it is understandable that she would not be able to fill that capacity, at least not right now. That means Dante will have to stay on in the post for the foreseeable future.
Elsewhere, Valentin has something to tell Carly. “You always know the right buttons to push,” he tells her.
Felicia also has news to deliver. She tells Jason, “Anna gave me a message for you.” What could Anna want Jason to know?
Closing out the latest GH preview, Emma is back in Port Charles, and she has an update for Gio. “I’ve lost the grandmother that I knew,” Emma tells him. Sad.
