The latest General Hospital preview video for May 8 is out, and it looks like the tension in Port Charles is about to boil over. From secret deals to investigations hitting a wall of lies, Friday’s episode is one you won’t want to miss.
Ric Updates Ava
The drama kicks off at the art gallery, where Ric has a secret meeting with Ava. He is making sure she knows he hasn’t forgotten her request. He promises her that she will get exactly what she asked for, which definitely makes us wonder what kind of deal these two have cooked up.
Dante Is Onto the Lies
Things get even more intense. Dante is meeting with Liz, and he is not holding back about his investigation into the pier incident. He tells her, “All of them are lying about what actually went down that night.” Dante is seeing the cracks in everyone’s stories, and he isn’t going to let this go until he has the real truth. It sounds like the cover-up is about to fall apart.
Meanwhile, Nathan is putting the pressure on Lulu. He is insisting that she needs to send Rocco away immediately. He claims it is for the boy’s safety, but it’s hard to tell if Lulu is actually going to listen to him.
At the same time, Brennan is digging for dirt on his rivals. He asks, “You have something for me on Valentin?” It isn’t clear yet if he’s talking to Nina, but we know Valentin has already reached out to her for help with a job.
Carly and Sonny Face New Challenges
Carly is definitely not on board with Nina being involved in any of their business. She tells him to “Come up with a solution that doesn’t involve her.” She clearly doesn’t want Nina anywhere near this situation, and she isn’t afraid to say it.
The preview ends with a very heavy moment between Sonny and Ethan. Sonny seems ready to take things to a dangerous level, and he is giving a fair warning about the consequences. He tells Ethan, “Once this starts, there is no stopping it.” It looks like Sonny has finally been pushed to his limit, and whatever happens next is going to change the power dynamic in Port Charles forever.
