General Hospital star, Donnell Turner has something to celebrate today. It’s his 4th anniversary on the show. Viewers would remember that Turner debuted as Curtis Ashford on November 30, 2015. While Turner already had a soap past as he played Dr. Aiden Williams on Days of Our Lives in 2009 and a doctor on The Young and the Restless in 2015, his GH role was his big break in daytime television.
Curtis was introduced as a friend of Shawn Butler (ex-Sean Blakemore) and a private investigator hired by Hayden Barnes (ex-Rebecca Budig) to uncover the truth behind her shooting. Curtis uncovered the truth that it was Nikolas (ex-Tyler Christopher) who was responsible for the shooting. Later, Curtis was revealed to be the brother in law of Jordan Ashford and the uncle of TJ Ashford.
Since his time in Port Charles, Curtis has dated Valerie (Brytni Sarpy) and is now married to the Police Commissioner, Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry). He has continued to work as a private investigator who uncovered many cases and built great friendships with Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Drew (Billy Miller). Today, he marks a special milestone, his 4th GH anniversary. Here’s to many, many more to come!
