General Hospital actress, Syndey Mikayla (Trina Robinson) has added an exciting new gig to her resume. The announcement came today that Mikayla joined the cast of Netflix’s upcoming animated series called Kipo and the Age of the Wonderbeasts which premieres on January 14, 2020.
The upcoming DreamWorks Animation series follows a young girl who suddenly finds herself living aboveground for the first time. There she encounters the huge animals who forced humans to flee below the surface. It is centered around “the enthusiastic and curious” Kipo (Karen Fukuhara). Mikayla is a part of the main cast playing a wolf who is described as, “a weapon-wielding survivor who knows the ins and outs of the surface.”
Other cast members include; Coy Stewart, Deon Cole, Dee Bradley Baker, Sterling K. Brown, Dan Stevens, Lea DeLaria, Joan Jett, John Hodgman, GZA (Wu-Tang Clan), Jake Green, Grey Griffin, Ian Harding, Rhea Butcher, Betsy Sodaro, Taylor Louderman, Michael-Leon Wooley, Matt Lowe, and Scott Porter.
