GH Recap for April 17, 2023: Holly and Felicia Team Up!

On today’s General Hospital for April 17, 2023: Holly Sutton reunites with an old friend, Chase voices his gratitude, Robert berates Sonny, Carly & Josslyn offer their help, and Alexis receives a touching offer.

Chase is surprised when Brook Lynn shows up at his CCRB meeting. The meeting starts and Blaze shows up to speak in his defense. The board worries that his focus has shifted to his music career but Brook Lynn speaks up and assures them that isn’t true and his true passion is being a cop. The board leaves to make their decision and Chase thanks them both for defending him. Blaze leaves and the board comes back and announces that they’ve reached a decision!

Robert blasts Sonny for using Diane to get around the law by paying her to represent Victor’s man. Sonny says that they got the information because of Diane representing him and they shouldn’t care how they got it.  Robert asks how far is too far and leaves as Nina arrives. 

After Robert leaves Sonny asks Nina what she’s doing at the hospital and she tells him that she wanted to talk to Willow’s doctor about alternative treatments but Willow never signed the release so she couldn’t. She tells him that they have to find Liesel in time for the transplant. She tells him that he’s why they know as much as they do and asks what he did. Sonny is reluctant to tell her because it’s about the business but she insists that she can handle it. 

Sonny tells her about Diane representing Victor’s henchman at his behest. He asks if she’s having second thoughts about asking for his help but she tells him she’s not. She says she realizes that she can’t pick and choose which parts of him to love. She asks him to keep using his resources to find Liesel and asks him to let her help. He wants her to stay out of it for her own safety. She tells him that she trusts him and only wants him and doesn’t want him to change. He promises to bring Liesel home in time to save Willow. 

Gregory asks Alexis to let him help her with the story about Victor. He tells her that he’s her friend and wants to support her with her family issues and she tells him that goes both ways. She accepts his offer of help but tells him she wants to know what’s actually going on with him too. He asks her to drop it and just continue their friendship. Alexis agrees and they agree to work together without getting into it right now. Just as they start working, Gregory collapses on the floor!

Diane sees Robert in the hospital and he asks her to join him for coffee as long as it’s ok with her boss. She tells him that Sonny is her client and not her boss and he apologizes. They debate the morality of her working for Sonny. She thinks it’s the same as him and Anna bending the rules for WSB work but he disagrees with her. They agree to disagree and make plans to go out to dinner that night.

Michael and Willow call Carly and Joss over to talk to them about the wedding. Willow explains that they want to move the wedding up and need their help. Carly and Joss agree to help and Willow asks to talk to Carly alone. Joss and Michael go outside and Willow tells Carly she is worried about the kids not being close to their whole family if something happens to her. She asks Carly to broker peace between Sonny and Michael. 

Outside, Joss tells Michael about Sonny confronting her and Dex. She also tells him that Sonny’s using every connection to find Liesel. He tells her about the phone call and that for the first time in a long time, Sonny sounded like his dad. Inside, Carly promises Willow she will do her best. 

Holly pretends to be a housekeeper to get into Felicia’s room. They agree to find Ethan first and then find the person who killed Luke. Felicia updates Holly about the hostage situation on the Haunted Star and Holly tells her she has a lead on Ethan. 

Holly and Felica show up in disguise at an exclusive club that Victor’s a member of. The man in charge tells them that the auction is for members only. Holly tries to bribe him and he calls goons out to escort them off the property. Holly tells him that they do business with Victor and Felicia tells him that their clients insist they represent them in person. He agrees to let them stay and calls for the auction item to be brought up. When they take the hood off of the man that’s brought up, Holly sees that it’s Ethan and the auction is for the privilege of killing him!
