Gregory Harrison concluded his 4-year run of Gregory Chase on General Hospital, making his exit on May 20. In today’s episode of the ABC Daytime drama, Gregory’s loved ones bid their final farewells. Moreover, a new episode of the Daily Drama Podcast, hosted by Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) and Steve Burton (Jason), was released, featuring an insightful discussion with Gregory Harrison. During the podcast, Harrison shared anecdotes about his time on GH and recounted his experiences working alongside vets such as Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) and Jane Elliot (Tracy).
About his time on GH, Gregory noted, “It started out as a 10-show arc three and a half years ago, and I thought, ‘Am I even going to be able to pull this off? I had never done a soap in my life. I’ve done everything else. I was so scared of it. The whole concept of it just seemed terrifying to me.”
Gregory Harrison On Working With General Hospital Vets
Later in the podcast, Gregory Harrison enthusiastically praised his co-stars in his story bubble, including Michael Easton (Finn), Josh Swickard (Chase), Nancy Lee Grahn, and Jane Elliot.
He sang high praises about working Jane Elliot. “They put me with Jane for the last six months or so and we got to play and flirt and if there’s anything I regret about them killing me off as fast as they did—is that there was this relationship growing between Gregory and Tracy… I mean the days that I had scenes with Jane I was so excited to roll out of bed and go into work and I never knew what Jane was going to bring but I knew it was going to be incredible and she’s amazing, she’s a force of nature. He added, “She blew me away every single day I worked with her.”
