There was a double elimination on the latest episode of Dancing With the Stars. Two stars; DeMarcus Ware along with his partner and John Schneider and his partner were eliminated. Schneider who plays Jim Cryer on Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots opened up about his elimination as well as some personal struggles in his life. He shared, “I’ve been going through a divorce now for four years and it’s awful. The worst part about it is that it’s wedged itself in between my three adult children and myself. Nothing I can do except hope one day one of my kids will call me up or show up. I look in the crowd every Monday thinking maybe tonight, maybe tonight“.
Schneider was married to Elvira ‘Elly” Schneider for 21 years. She filed for divorce on November 14, 2014, citing irreconcilable differences. He, however, shares, “I’m hoping that I will do my family proud, I’ll do my love over there (Alicia, his girlfriend) proud, and maybe my children will speak to me again.”
Unfortunately, he was eliminated and he’s not sad at all but is extremely grateful for the experience. Schneider wrote, “Not sad at all. This was indeed one of the most wonderful experiences of my life! I feel like @theemmaslater and I are winners winners winners! My love to everyone who voted and supported us during this amazing experience!
