Since her return to Port Charles, Emma (Braedyn Bruner) has been keeping a secret and now we finally know what it is after the May 7 episode of General Hospital.
The Real Reason Emma Got Expelled
During the episode that featured Lulu (Alexa Havins Bruening) keeping a close eye on Lois’ (Rena Sofer) defense of Gio (Giovanna Mazza) and being tipped off that he could be Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) son that she gave up for adoption many years ago, Emma also made a stunning confession to Josslyn (Eden McCoy).
While at the beach, Joss and Emma bond. The girls chatted for a bit before Emma asked Joss, “Can you keep a secret?” Joss’s interest piqued and all, she swore she could. So, Emma proceeded to reveal that Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Cosgrove) is not the charming man he appears to be. Emma goes on to explain that she had been expelled from Berkeley after breaking into Professor Dalton’s lab to prove he was testing on animals.
Emma got caught in the act and avoided jail time only by signing a strict NDA. Since then, she’s been determined to get close to Dalton again — this time by securing a spot as his research assistant — as he’s a college professor in Port Charles. Her motive? Simply to get the goods on him and expose him!
Josslyn Shares Critical Intel
What Emma doesn’t know is that Josslyn is basically already on the same mission — but as a newly minted WSB agent, officially assigned to investigate Professor Dalton. She’s supposed to keep close tabs on him and report back to the WSB. Thanks to Emma’s confession, Joss now has critical intel, which she quickly reported back to Brennan (Chris McKenna) and Vaughan (Bryce Durfee).
