Cane is Arrested
Just when things were finally starting to feel calm for Cane and Lily, the rug is pulled out from under them. Next week on The Young and the Restless, a new District Attorney in Genoa City is making her presence known by taking swift action where she sees fit. Hello, Christine Blair Romalotti.
In a shocking scene, Cane is arrested right in front of a horrified Lily. “Oh my God, this can’t be happening!” she cries as she watches the man she loves being taken away.
Despite the handcuffs, Cane tries to stay strong for her. He assures Lily that Amanda will get his bail posted quickly. More importantly, he promises that he will still make it to New York to ensure Malcolm gets the life-saving bone marrow transplant he needs.
Victor’s Power Play and Patty’s Return
While Cane deals with the law, Victor Newman is focused on his empire. The Mustache is determined to get his companies back, and he’s making it very clear that he will do whatever is necessary to reclaim his throne.
However, Victor and Diane’s day takes a turn for the worse when they run into a very familiar face at the GCAC. Patty Williams is back and as mischievous as ever. “Well, hello, you two. Can this day get any better?” she chuckles, clearly enjoying the chance to push their buttons. While Patty is having a blast, Diane looks like she’s already reached her limit with Patty’s presence in town.
The Ultimate Bombshell: Matt Clark is Alive
In the most stunning twist of all, it turns out that Matt Clark is very much alive. We repeat: MATT CLARK IS NOT DEAD.
In a cryptic scene, we see Matt interacting with a waitress who expresses concern for his well-being. His only focus, however, is getting back to the action. He asks how far he is from the GCAC. So, clearly, he has a dark agenda for his enemies. With Matt back in the picture, no one in Genoa City is safe.
