The Missing Rembrandt: A Deadly Fake
The search for the $20 million Rembrandt took a dark turn when the museum CEO, Mr. Cyrus, was found murdered. As it turns out, the owners of the piece—the Fosters—were broke and staged the theft for the insurance money. They cut a deal with Cyrus to steal the painting, but things turned fatal once he realized he was the one being played.
Tragically, Cyrus lost his life over a forgery. The Fosters had been displaying a fake in the museum all along, keeping the real Rembrandt hidden. Even the thieves didn’t know they were killing themselves over a worthless canvas.
Is Rhys Actually Jean-Baptiste?
The biggest shocker of the night was the truth about Rhys. Morgan’s overthinking mind was spot on — Rhys isn’t the helpful insurance consultant he pretends to be. He’s Jean-Baptiste, a major art thief who’s stolen over nine priceless pieces from museums around the world.
He poses as an art recovery expert to get close to the investigation, only to steal the artwork himself, all while convincing insurance companies the pieces are gone for good.
What’s in the Backpack ?
Well, the backpack contains photos of men involved in illegal activities. These men will do anything to get their hands on it, which raises the question: Do they know where Roman is?
Where is Arthur?
The most stressful part of the episode involved Arthur and Roman’s mysterious backpack. It’s clear Roman’s past is coming for Morgan — and honestly, it’s starting to affect everyone connected to her life.
Arthur did give Morgan the backpack, which she quickly handed over to her lieutenant — her anxiety was through the roof.
As far as these men are concerned, Arthur still has it. That’s the problem. They were targeting Arthur… and now? He’s missing. We know he never made it to the station, so who has him? Where did he go? And where is Jean-Baptiste?
