Farah Fath first got her big break in daytime as she played the role of Mimi Lockhart on ‘Days of Our Lives’. Though she is not on the canvas currently, she remains a big part of the show’s history. A new head writer is in place in person of Ron Carlivati who is shifting things in the right direction for many fans. The show will now focus more on the vets and with such a focus, they will bring back prominent characters from the show’s history. One such character is that of Bonnie Lockhart played by Judi Evans who also plays the role of Adrienne Kiriakis. Bonnie will return on the scene this Friday July 21 and one main part of her history is making her daughter, Mimi’s life miserable. With the return of Bonnie the question is now posed – is it time for Mimi Lockhart to return as well? Should Farah Fath who played the role from September 1999 – March 2007 return to reprise the role?
For those who may not know or remember, Mimi left to live with her brother, Connor in Arizona. Mimi was Belle’s [Martha Madison] best-friend and she was also married to Shawn Douglas Brady for a while. Considering that all these returns are in place, is it the most fitting time for Mimi to make her return? We know Farah is enjoying her married life to Phil Galfond and her time with her nieces – will she even consider a return to daytime? Fath has also played the role of Gigi Morasco/Stacy Morasco on ‘One Life to Life’. So, what do you say fans? Is it time for Mimi to return?
