General Hospital actress, Sofia Mattsson (Sasha Gilmore) and her real-life older sister, Helena Mattsson have officially launched their company called Ava Carrington. With this, they will bring their line of vegan handbags to life.
The sisters note, “We started Ava Carrington after feeling a need for cruelty-free vegan bags that also felt well designed, made from high-quality materials and not harmful for the environment (like commonly used PVC). With defiant spirits and a love for creativity, we decided to take matters into our own hands. After a long journey of searching for the right materials and partners, we are SO very excited to finally be ready to bring our line of ethical, vegan handbags to you! Stay tuned for the launch. In regards to this Sofia highlighted, “I’ve always been a big believer in following your dreams (which is why a few years ago I left my home in Sweden and moved across the Atlantic to pursue acting in LA). Another big (career) dream of mine has always been to have my own company, and that dream has been in full force the past year after @helena_mattsson and I got the idea for what will soon be known as Ava Carrington. It’s been a challenging but very fun and exciting journey with a lot of ups and downs and many obstacles and important decisions.
