Jaden Lucas Miller is seeing his big break in acting. He is set to make his debut in CBS’ new daytime drama, Beyond the Gates, on Wednesday, March 12, as Tyrell Richardson. Albeit adopted, he is a part of the prestigious Dupree family. Tyrell is one of the two adopted children of Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning).

Jaden Lucas Miller caught the acting bug at a young age at the Raleigh Little Theatre and the North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre. He credits his mom, Georgia Miller, for giving him a push into his calling.
Jaden graduated in 2024 from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh and enrolled as a freshman last fall at North Carolina A&T. It was in November of 2024 that he auditioned for a role on Beyond the Gates. The news—that he landed a part on the show—came as he was taking finals; he learned he had landed the role.

Jaden is now taking classes online and working on set in Atlanta. He is credited with shows such as Murder Decoded, Homicide Hunter, and more.
The series is set in a Maryland suburb, and it focuses on the Dupree family, a powerful and prestigious multi-generational family. It’s the first-ever one-hour Black daytime soap opera.
