Vision Films is kicking off the holiday movie season with a little mystery and a lot of heart. The company announced the North American Transactional VOD release of the offbeat romantic dramedy A Chrismystery, debuting November 4, 2025, through a deal with Scott J. Jones and Artist View Entertainment. The film stars and is produced by Jen Lilley, a fan favorite known for her beloved holiday hits The Spirit of Christmas and A Paris Christmas Waltz, as well as her time on Days of our Lives.
Jen Lilley Returns to the Holiday Spotlight
Directed by Matthew Toronto (My Life is a Lifetime Movie) and written by Sean Wathen, A Chrismystery was filmed on location in Savannah, GA, and St. Joseph, MO. Produced by Lilley alongside Peter Foldy, Joshua Brandon, and B.L. Fleischer, the film mixes humor, heart, and a touch of mystery in a holiday homecoming that doesn’t go quite as planned.
About A Chrismystery
The story follows a big-city cop (played by Lilley) who reluctantly returns to her hometown with her daughter to take a deputy sheriff job. Determined not to stay, her plans change when the town’s Christmas tree, lights, and decorations are stolen. With everyone a suspect, she teams up with the charming sheriff to crack the case—and may just discover that love is the greatest holiday gift of all.

A Chrismystery will be available on major Transactional VOD platforms in the U.S. and Canada starting November 4, 2025, and is available for pre-order now on iTunes/Apple TV (U.S., Canada) and Vudu/Fandango at Home (U.S.).
