Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful) are among the few that earned first-time Daytime Emmy Award nominations this year.

Jennifer Gareis is nominated in the category of Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series (actress). The contenders in this category also include Emily O’Brien (DAYS), Allison Lanier (Y&R), Courtney Hope (Y&R) and Linsey Godfrey (DAYS).

After the nominations were announced, Gareis wrote, “I am so excited to be nominated for an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress!
A huge thank you to Brad Bell for putting your faith in me & giving me this incredible storyline! Thank you to the writers for producing so many scripts worthy of an Emmy! I am honored, humbled & blessed!”

Jennifer Gareis began her soap opera career back in 1997 when she was hired for the contract role of Grace Turner on The Young and the Restless. She stayed with the show until 2000 and made visits in 2002, 2004 and 2014.

Jennifer Gareis joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful in 2006 taking on the contract role of Donna Logan.

Jennifer Gareis Gets first Emmy Nomination

During the past year, Gareis truly had her moment to shine as her beloved, the Forrester patriarch, Eric Forrester, faced a life-threatening illness. This emotional storyline provided Gareis with the opportunity to display her acting skills and truly demonstrate her talent. She rightfully earned accolades such as “performer of the week.” It is a great pleasure to see her recognized among this year’s contenders, as she has undoubtedly earned her spot. Congratulations to Jennifer Gareis.

The 51st Daytime Emmy Awards will be held in Los Angeles on Friday, June 7, 2024.
