Jon Lindstrom is Celebrating 30
years at General Hospital! The ‘pearl’ anniversary!
In the newest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Jon Lindstrom (Ryan
& Kevin Chamberlain) talks about his 30 years on General Hospital. Pick up a copy and check
it out.
Lindstrom first appeared on the sudser in June of 1992 as “Ryan
Chamberlain”, and was introduced
as a pediatrician. It was later revealed that Ryan had been hiding his mentally
unstable behavior for some time and was actually a killer. In December 1993,
Lindstrom was re-introduced to the canvas as a psychiatrist, “Kevin
Chamberlain” who came to
Port Charles to help rehabilitate his identical brother, serial killer, Ryan.
During Lindstrom’s tenure and as storylines have
dictated, he has played Ryan and Kevin as well as portraying the twins
concurrently on screen. Lindstrom has shown his incredible performance range,
masterfully portraying the “bad” and “good” twin thus making Lindstrom, Kevin,
and Ryan fan favorites.
Currently, Ryan and Kevin are
embroiled in the Esme, Nicholas, Ava, Spencer storyline. There are so many
questions! What is the Ryan/Esme connection? Is Ryan really Esme’s biological
father? Who is her mother? What’s Ryan’s end game? How will this all shake out?
What will Ryan do next? How will Kevin, Laura, et. all stop him? Or can they?
Congratulations and Happy
Thirtieth Soap-A-versary Jon!
