Soap vet, Kassie DePaiva is celebrating her Days of Our Lives anniversary today. After tackling the roles of; Chelsea Reardon on ‘Guiding Light’ and Blair Cramer on ‘One Life to Live’, DePaiva began playing the role of Eve Donovan on June 18, 2014. After a long absence on the canvas, Eve returned to Salem in 2014 in scenes with Dr. Daniel Jonas (ex-Shawn Christian). At the time she met with him in regards to a throat surgery in hopes of relaunching her singing career. She then reunited with her daughter Paige Larson (ex-True O’Brien). Eve’s rivalry with Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) was once again addressed and even made worse when she slept with JJ (Casey Moss). Throughout her tenure as Eve, Kassie was romantically paired with Wally Kurth’s Justin Kiriakis, Vincent Irizarry’s Deimos Kiriakis (off-screen) and Eric Martsolf’s Brady Black. Kassie earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in the category of Oustanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2014 for her outstanding work.
