Today marks the one-year anniversary since the soap community and the world mourned the loss of the great and talented, Billy Miller. He passed away at the age of 43 on September 15, 2023, just two days before his birthday. On this day, his devoted fans are sharing tweets in his memory. Kelly Monaco, a favorite on General Hospital and a close friend of Billy’s on and off screen, made a rare social media post to pay tribute to him.

Monaco, known for infrequent social media activity, shared her first post since the news broke that she was being written out of General Hospital, where she portrays Sam McCall. Taking to Instagram, she posted a picture of herself and Billy Miller with roses in their teeth, and captioned it, “Duces ‘I’ve got your back and you always had mine.’ I will tell our story soon enough… 😇🙏🏻❤️ I love and miss you… and beyond.”

Billy Miller portrayed the characters Jason Morgan and Drew Cain on GH from 2014 to 2019. Tragically, he passed away at the age of 43 in his Texas home. His mother, Patricia, revealed that her son had “surrendered his life” after a long and courageous battle with bipolar depression. Apart from his acclaimed roles on GH, Miller, a three-time Emmy award-winning was also recognized for his performances as Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless and Richie Novak on All My Children.
