The hook strikes again! Kelly Thiebaud’s General Hospital character, Britt Westbourne is the latest to succumb to injuries from the hook.
In the New Year’s episode airing this week, Britt saved Josslyn from the hook killer but somehow managed to get a scratch from the hook which was filled with poison. Britt went back to the Haunted Star to be with her mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) where her mother noticed the scratch and the blood. As things intensified, Britt revealed that the scratch is from the hook and asked her mother to spend the final moments holding her. It was heartbreaking and a gutwrenching episode watching these two actresses; Thiebaud and Gati pull our heartstrings with their performances. On this, her exit story and the episode where her character dies, Thiebaud wrote; “I don’t know if I can watch today’s episode.” In response, Gati noted, “Just did and it was SO heartbreaking. I’m reliving what we went through. Miss you TONS!” If you haven’t watched it yet please do and ensure to have your kleenex ready.
