Pop the champagne baby! Hope Brady is back on Days of our Lives as Kristian Alfonso is set to reprise the role later this year.
According to TV Insider, Kristian Alfonso returned to the set on April 22, 2024. She told the publication, “My return is very bittersweet, because it is the end of an era with Bill gone. So to return to Days is very sad. I am appreciative that they came to me to include me in their series of shows honoring Doug and I’m very happy to see everyone, but I’m entering the studio with a heavy heart.”

Alfonso also talked about a scene that would have been if things had penned out how it was planned. “I’m sad that I did not get the opportunity to do the storyline that Ron (Carlivati, head writer) had planned. It was great; we returned to Salem to reunite with our families and I would have had father/daughter scenes with Billy. What Ron had written was beautiful and emotional and it was a fantastic story. I was 100 percent for it and the fans would have loved it.”
In regards to the fans hopeful for a Bo and Hope reunion, Alfonso said, “What I will say is don’t give up hope.”
Kristian Alfonso joins the growing list of returnees for Doug’s memorial and the historic 15,000th episode that is to come later this year.
