Laura Wright, who plays Carly Spencer on General Hospital, took to Twitter to defend her friend and co-star Cynthia Watros, who plays Nina Reeves, after a Twitter user posted violent rheteric aimed at Cythina.
The entire thing started when Wright posted about the HBO series The Last Of Us and the Twitter user replied to her, saying, “Listen… I’m afraid if I saw @watroswatros (Cynthia Watros) on the street I would punch her in the face for messing with Carly.”
Watros posted a screenshot of the tweet on her own timeline with the caption, “Really?” and Wright defended her long time friend and co-star, posting, “Not if I were there! Love you, Cynthia! XOXOX”.
Laura and Cynthia have been friends since Wright joined Guiding Light as Cassie Layne in 1997, Watros was playing Annie Dutton on the same sudser at the time. They reunited onscreen in 2019 when Watros joined General Hospital.
