One of soap’s most hardworking actors, who excels both in front of and behind the camera as a writer and actor, had to put his foot down after a “fan” made an accusation against him. We’re speaking of Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter, The Bold and the Beautiful).
One cheeky X user took it upon themselves to claim that he misuses his position as a writer to insert himself into love scenes with the actresses. To clarify things, Saint-Victor took to X with a response: “Here’s some context about my response to a “fan” yesterday. I was accused of using the power they think I have as a writer to write myself into love scenes so I can kiss all the actresses. That’s an insulting statement, and I wish not to be tagged in comments like those.”
He stated in his initial rebuttal (which was posted the day before), “I don’t usually respond, but you’re calling my integrity into question. I as a writer, have no control over story or what Carter does or doesn’t do. I’ve seen a few of your ignorant remarks about me. They are insulting. You are free to post what you want, but don’t tag me.”
After his memorable run as Remy Boudreau on Guiding Light, Lawrence Saint-Victor stepped onto the scene of The Bold and the Beautiful in 2013. He expanded his creative prowess by becoming a writer for the show, with his inaugural script airing in 2015.
