Soap veteran, Lindsay Korman-Hartley is making her way back to daytime soap operas. She has been starring in and writing/directing a bunch of Lifetime movies but she’s temporarily stepping into the role of Sam McCall for Kelly Monaco on General Hospital. In regards to this, she said, “some big shoes to fill…precious too. I hope you enjoy watching Sam as much as I have enjoyed playing her, temporarily“.

Hartley got her kickstart in soaps back in 1999 when she started playing the role of Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald on Passions. When the show was canceled she went over to Days of Our Lives and reunited with a number of her Passions co-stars this time playing Arianna Hernandez. After her character was killed off, she stepped in the role of Cara Castillo on All My Children and stayed with the show throughout its cancellation and Prospect Park reboot.

Fans wanted her back on soaps someway somehow and there were even rumors that she auditioned for the role of Mia Rosales on The Young and the Restless. Now, comes news that she will be joining GH temporarily and in soapland reuniting with her real-life bestie, Brook Kerr (Portia Robinson).

Hartley makes her debut in August.
