Linsey Godfrey (Sarah Horton, Days Of Our Lives) took some
time to answer fans’ questions in her Instagram stories as she was waiting for
a flight recently and here is what we have learned!
Godfrey confirmed she is back for good on Days Of Our Lives. What fans are seeing now was filmed last year
so she doesn’t remember a lot of it, but she’s enjoying working with costars
she wouldn’t typically get to work with and she teased that she’s loving what
they are filming now.
Godfrey loves
comedy and enjoys anytime she is able to do it on Days Of Our Lives; particularly
any time she can get Paul Telfer (Xander, DAYS) to break as she considers that
an accomplishment. She stated that Telfer
is one of her favorite people. Her
favorite storyline on The Bold & The Beautiful was Caroline’s friendship
with Maya as it evolved and she also really enjoyed Caroline & Ridge
together (known as Caridge). She preferred Caroline with Ridge over Thomas and
Rick. Fans are dying to know if they
will ever see Godfrey again on The Bold & The Beautiful. However, she thinks Caroline, unfortunately, met
her maker, but you just never know for sure on soap operas! She recently shared the story of her
struggles and coming to terms with her mental health diagnosis (Bipolar II Disorder
and Borderline Personality Disorder) with People Magazine (and formerly Maurice
Benard’s [Sonny, General Hospital] YouTube Channel, State of Mind). She stated that it was her pleasure to share
her story and that since then, people have shared their stories with her which
helps her feel seen and not alone. She
didn’t think she’d ever been in the magazine and is honored that they asked her
to share her story. She was excited and
nervous about it up until the article came out and is so happy she did it.
When asked how to be the best partner to
someone with a similar diagnosis, Godfrey said that the best thing to do is
listen; be open, compassionate, and non-judgmental. It’s important to create a safe space that is
filled with love and support to be able to discuss needs. Godfrey shared that she is currently the
healthiest and happiest she has ever been which she credits to daily medication,
weekly therapy, and her support system.
Some fun facts she shared: she’s
open to being in a superhero movie and is interested in doing standup comedy. She
prefers the west coast over the east coast.
Her hair is naturally curly. She
is 5’5” which shocks people who meet her in person as they typically expect her
to be a lot shorter or a lot taller.
Thank you, Godfrey, for taking time out to answer fans’
questions and giving them an opportunity to learn more about you! We are happy to hear you are doing well!
