Hallmark Channel has officially renewed its long-running, cozy-favorite series When Calls the Heart for a 14th season, with production set to kick off next year for a 2027 return. And just to sweeten the deal, original cast member Lori Loughlin, who fans know and love as Abigail Stanton, will be back, gracing six of the season’s 12 episodes. Talk about a welcome home!
Based on Janette Oke’s beloved novel, When Calls the Heart has been tugging at our heartstrings since 2014, and its all-star lineup continues to shine: Erin Krakow (Christmas Above the Clouds), Kevin McGarry (The Wedding Veil), Jack Wagner (Melrose Place), Chris McNally (Holiday Crashers), Pascale Hutton (Fourth Down and Love), and Kavan Smith (Big Sky River: The Bridal Path).

We felt that Season 14 was the right time to continue Abigail’s story with her return to this beloved series.”
Produced entirely in Canada with the help of Brad Krevoy Television and Believe Pictures, When Calls the Heart continues to be a shining example of that Hallmark magic—heartfelt stories, familiar faces, and just the right sprinkle of small-town charm.
