Someone’s shot at a quarter-million dollars came to an end on Love Island Games Season 2 tonight. The first dumping of the season took place in Episode 3, and it was none other than Charlie Georgiou who got the boot and was voted off by his fellow Islanders.
Heading into the episode, both Charlie and Andreina Santos-Marte were wearing the dreaded Heartbreak Necklace — the one thing no Islander wants, as it marks you as single and vulnerable.
But just as things looked grim, two new contestants entered the villa: Love Island USA fan-favorites Johnny Middlebrooks and two-time winner Justine Ndiba. They were paired with Andreina and Charlie, respectively, to compete in a high-stakes challenge. The goal was to win, and pass on the necklace.
Who Got Dumped from the Villa on Love Island Games Season Two?
Andreina came through in the clutch. After losing her first challenge to Lucinda, she bounced back and secured victory — and her place in the game, for now. Thus, she passed on her necklace.
Charlie Georgiou, however, wasn’t so lucky. He lost his challenge, and when it came time for the Islanders to vote, they chose to send him packing over Kendall Washington.
This marks Charlie’s second time being voted off in the franchise. He previously appeared as a bombshell on Love Island USA Season 7, where he also got dumped by his fellow Islanders.
So in Episode 3 of Love Island Games Season 2, Charlie becomes the first Islander to be sent home — and just like that, his shot at the $250,000 prize is over. See how fans reacted.
