Hot on the heels of news that soap vet Jeff Branson has joined the audio soap opera Haven Falls comes word that another daytime favorite is heading to the series as well.
Haven Falls has officially announced that award-winning actress Melissa Archer has joined the cast of the upcoming audio soap drama in the role of Julia Lowe, a strong-willed and hardworking attorney whose presence is expected to shake things up in the fictional Midwestern town.
Best known to daytime audiences for her portrayal of Natalie Buchanan on One Life to Live and Serena Mason on Days of Our Lives, Archer brings her signature charisma, emotional depth, and longtime soap appeal to the series. Over the years, she has become one of daytime television’s most recognizable and beloved performers.

Julia Lowe is described as ambitious, fiercely dedicated to her clients, and unafraid to stand her ground when facing adversity.
As the lives of Haven Falls residents become more intertwined through family drama, buried secrets, and unexpected romances, Julia will find herself at the center of some of the town’s biggest storylines.

Hutchison said in a statement. “Melissa is a phenomenal actress whose work has resonated with audiences for years. She brings tremendous strength, heart, and authenticity to Julia, and we cannot wait for listeners to experience her performance.”
Archer will be heard from the very beginning of the series when Haven Falls premieres on June 25. Her addition continues the show’s push to blend beloved daytime veterans with fresh talent in a serialized audio drama.
