The Young and the Restless actress, Melissa Ordway Gaston (Abby Newman) and her real-life husband, Justin Gaston is celebrating 8 years of marriage. And, to culminate with their romantic news, we also have more amazing news to share. The couple is set to star in an upcoming ION TV holiday movie called Christmas Sitters directed by Dylan Vox.
The movie also stars Nathan Owens (ex-Cameron, Days of Our Lives), Tristin Mays, Chris Soules and GloZell Green.
The movie follows parents who are stranded in Europe and double book sitters who don’t get along to watch their kids during the holidays.
We spoke with the director who is very ecstatic about the upcoming movie. He stated, “the actors were amazing. This is not a typical Christmas movie. It’s elevated and has a heart and is cinematic. They were all people I had worked with before and were so gracious to lend their talents. Literally, all five of them (including Glozell) made something that is exceptional. And I don’t just say that because I’m the director (laughs). It really is a great movie. I had the number one film for ION last year with Beauty and the Beast Christmas, and this one is just as exceptional if not more so.“
