Devon and Abby are getting married—yep, that’s right, married! It’s happening! And some special guests are coming for the big day, including Melvin Robert, who appears on The Young and the Restless on November 13 and 14 as Reverend Holmes, the pastor officiating their wedding at the Newman Ranch. This marks Y&R’s monumental 13,000th episode, which will also features the returns of Eileen Davidson (Ashley), Jess Walton (Jill), Chene Lawson (Harmony), and Loren Lott (Ana).
Who Is Melvin Robert?
Robert, a Southern California native, boasts a distinguished career in television as a senior correspondent and weekend co-host on Extra. He has made his mark as an anchor on Good Day LA and has contributed his expertise to Spectrum News 1 SoCal. Additionally, Robert has had roles in popular series such as L.A.’s Finest, Hacks, and more.
Melvin Robert was born and raised in Inglewood. He is a graduate of Loyola High School of Los Angeles, and matriculated to Loyola Marymount University, where he earned his BA in English and MA in Educational Studies focused in Human Development and Counseling.
