Mishael Morgan is returning to The Young and the Restless in the coming weeks. The Emmy award-winning actress teased fans of her return via Instagram. “Guess who’s popping in for a visit!!!” she teased. Her post showcased her back in Los Angeles and on the set of the CBS daytime drama.
In May 2013, Mishael Morgan took on the role of Hilary Curtis on the show. As the character was killed off, Morgan made her final appearance as Hilary in July 2018. She returned to the show in 2019 to play the role of a new character, Amanda Sinclair. In 2022, she became the first Black actress to receive the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
Morgan last appearance on the show was in March 2023. Since then, she has been actively involved in some acting and production projects. Her co-star, Michelle Stafford, who plays Phyllis Summers, is thrilled about her comeback, as she teased:
